amazing baked goods, my favorite is the nepolian cake. All around pretty authentic and solid when it comes to selection. I 1000% recommend going here, the low star reviews are all crumb eaters who don’t understand that it’s considered rude to be overly friendly and chatty to customers in eastern Europe. The staff is really nice and friendly when you do strike up conversation and i would never in a million years consider them nasty or rude. My favorite store❤️❤️

Went into Tanya's European deli because I was curious to see what things they sell at this place. I was amazed how much stuff fit into this little store the ailes are super cramped so be careful not to drop anything when you go through them. I saw so many different types of canned good items that I have never seen before. The employees do speak another language I believe it's Russian so there was a language barrier when I tried speaking to one of the employees. I wanted to buy a slice of cake and I believe she said it was $14 I don't know if she was trying to sell me a whole cake or just a piece but that's an expensive slice if it was just a piece. I tried asking other questions but I don't think she understood and I didn't want to keep going in circles so I just left, but there were unusual things in there I would check it out if you're curious.

Great store! Has some of the most impressive variety of Eastern European food. Everything from buckwheat to red caviar, kefir and cottage cheese. They also bake some puffs and cakes (the napoleon with mascarpone base is a must try). The staff mostly communicates in Russian and Ukrainian. They do understand English for the most part, but if smth seams confusing I d recommend just to use your phone translator. It can be very helpful.

I am not a local guide nor does anyone pay me. I've been going to Tanya's since I moved to Beaverton years ago. Great selection of fresh meats. Lots of tasty breads. Wonderful selection of candies from Europe. Many great products. For a great selection of hard to find foods this is place to go. Tanya's is a really good reason we welcome immigrants. Tanya's cannot help it if some company sent funky goods.

Never felt welcome here. I’m an American Hungarian. Pick salami had an off taste. Will take my business elsewhere. And I felt that way prior to the Russian Ukraine conflict.

Purchased this from this store and when opened it it has full of worms. Went back to the store they refused to process a return. Svetlana got really aggressive, called her boss. I started taking pictures of this can and she said '' you better not post it on internet, you have no permission to take photos in this store ''. Will avoid this filthy store in the future. Customer service is awful, people who work there are rude.

A fairly standard Slavic store. Been around quite awhile.Clean, wide variety. They don't seem to carry the brand of baked goods we tend to pick up in similar places so we don't visit this one much.

Shameless people who work in the store cannot make any comments regarding the owners. I have been shopping there for the past two years, and everything was fine. But today, we went to get our usual bread, cottage cheese, and some tea. When we about to pay, one of the cashiers made my wife pay twice saying that the first payment did not go through. Even though it printed a check, she said that the check is from the previous costumer. The system did not say anything about that the payment was declined. We paid the second time and went to my car to drive home, but I decided to check my bank account and noticed that payment went through two times. Went back to the store and told the problem, and here it begins. They called the owner of the store and explained the situation, and my wife came to the store to check if everything is okay or not. Then a lady with a curly hair started to blame my wife, raised her voice and started to teach how to live our lives. I responded and raised my voice what is the problem, why is she doing that. She said I am returning you the second paymentin cash (and kind said in a way that we should be grateful for that) and my wife should not press any other buttons on their machine next time in a rude way. I do not give a damn about that extra 30$ that I paid, if you do not know the basic costumer service you better find another job. They were looking at us as like we are trying to scam them for 30$. Zero costumer service and zero tolerance for loyal costumers. At the end, I did not get my 30$ back, and not going to call to my bank for that extra 30$ if that makes you guys rich. If you are doing business in US, you better know the culture and respect it. I called them cheap as they are, and warn other folks to make a note of it. I am not a competitor who owns a similar store nor ahater who seeks any extra attention. Again, cannot make any false comments about the owners since I did not interact with them.

A warm and friendly store with delicious comfort foods and everything you might miss from Eastern Europe. The desserts are great but also try the sandwiches and deli options. The portions are generous and the freshly baked bread is delicious.Looking forward to my next visit here!

Tanya's store has been around for a long time. The employees are nice and friendly, they try their best to serve the community with European products. If you like to try new tastes of Europe definitely stop by there's something for everyone's taste.
