Horrible experience. My 2 year old daughter was on one of the booth benches when it collapsed underneath her. She was completely stuck inside the bench and I had to pull her out. Every single worker ran out to see what happened because it was so loud and my daughter was crying. Not one person asked if she was okay and instead they all just stood there staring in their crop tops. What makes the situation so frustrating is that my husband asked the manger for his card, in case my daughter was injured, then all the staff proceeded to talk about us while we were sitting there eating. He did offer up an apology and said the bench needs to be fixed, but it’s meaningless when you’re talking about us and we can literally hear you. Just a bunch of unprofessional kids working and the food is subpar.

The Good- It's a great place to sit and watch dogs, have a drink. Right by the water and park. The Iceberg & Mustard sandwich I received was surprisingly good. The Bad- Service was sub-par with some attitude. The sandwich I ordered was supposed to have meat and cheese too. I'd think. (Photo)The Tip- Grab a beer and an Iceberg Sandwich and ignore the attitude.

Came here on Sunday for a quick bite. I ordered a turkey sandwich while my wife got the pastrami sandwich. Mine was good but the pastrami was excellent.

So disappointed. This was our first time in, we ordered ahead online and were told it would be 20 minutes. When we arrived our food wasn’t ready, it took 40 minutes for it to be ready. When we got home and opened our sandwich they didn’t make it according to what we ordered it’s like they didn’t read the modification at all.

The staff was super friendly and love the atmosphere but the food wasn't the best. I ordered chili and hot ham and cheese. The ham and cheese was just a normal ham and cheese sandwich. I should have said something but I didn't. The ham and cheese sandwich was good but I was disappointed because I was looking forward to a hot ham and cheese. The chili had no flavor and definitely was canned. They seemed to have a bunch of other soups and sandwiches that look good but I'm super picky. I'll have to try the broccoli and cheese soup next time.

Small sandwich shop with a big menu! Not easy to find off the main street, but definitely worth the effort. Our sandwiches were mounded with cold cuts and cheese and veggies, etc. Wow! And it's all served on a BHD Frisbee!! Cool! The service and ambience are bright and inviting. We will surely visit the BHD again when in Bend! Oh... and there's even merch available.

All around great experience. Awesome sandwiches, crisp beer, fun pictures and decorations to observe, and tvs to watch some college football. There was a fireplace outside which would have been cozy if it were cooler.

I've been here numerous times and every time I'm left in awe of how jaw-droppingly good this place is. Service is super friendly and always wearing a smile. The atmosphere is perfect for this place, located near the river and a short walk away from anything downtown. Long story short this is my #1 recommended place to eat if you wanna eat great food and not feel sluggish after. Always makes me feel rejuvenated after Chowing down on a LG sub sandwich. 10/10.

Stopped here for some lunch while staying a night in bend.Good atmosphere with a nice patio.Would’ve enjoyed our French dip style sandwiches more if they weren’t drowning in mayo. Had to take it apart and sop the mayo up with napkins. As someone who’s worked in the service industry as a bartender the last 7 years, I understand and appreciate the tipping system… but find it absolutely ridiculous that a partial service sandwich restaurant has the tip selection starting at 20% and ending at 30%

We were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait so we decided to take the sandwiches to go. It turned out to be a 40 minute wait to get our food after we ordered. Once we unwrapped our sandwiches we noticed one was made incorrectly. That same sandwich also had hair in it. The bread was very soggy. Besides, the poor quality I wouldn't visit again because of the high priced menu. Chips or fries should be included for the extravagant price of the small sandwiches with a large restaurant type vibe.

I got "the sunburn" my husband got the "surfin' bird" as a lettuce wrap (staff said ANY sandwich can be made into a lettuce wrap!). Wasn't able to get photos because I took my first bite and couldn't stop. Best sandwich I have had in recent memory! I was impressed with my husband's lettuce wrap it had a hearty amount of fresh crunchy iceberg lettuce around it and held together well! We will most definitely be back with our three year old to check out the kids menu! I highly recommend beach hut deli.
