By far the best Chinese American in Bend. I've tried all of them. Food is fresh and not greasy. Not sure where the lower reviews are coming from.

Went in for some lunch, it was more quite then a Library which was refreshing. We ordered some soda, soup, and our to go order. The soup was surpassingly delicious and I was hoping that would set the stage for the rest of the meal, I was mistaken. One of the sodas tasted as if x the nozzle wasn't clean, the rest of the food was subpar with problems from being over cooked, to unwashed, and even some veggies that looked like they were rotten when they were cooked. This was the first time I'd been here in 40 years, and it didn't look like anything has changed at all, especially the carpet which has to be seen to be believed. I honestly think the only reason this place is open is because of the bar (Bamboo room) on the back side they really don't care about the restaurant side any more, and seeing they don't even check their reviews here just solidifies it. Chan's has not lost me.

I placed an order for pickup thru the link on their page and the money was taken out of my account. I went to the restaurant and they said they didn't have my order. So I showed them the money was taken out of my account by their restaurant and I got an email from them confirming my order. The lady, who apparently is the owner, was extremely rude and refused to give me my money or my food saying it isn't her fault. Her old male employee was also extremely rude and started yelling at me. So now my money is gone and I have no food. But they claim this page isn't their business, even though I had the correct address, name and phone number. I've never had such a bad enough experience at a restaurant to even get mad and I wish I would've spent my money and time elsewhere.

Not sure why there are so many low stars here. This place is really good. You can't go in expecting gourmet food but I have eaten at most Chinese American places here and this one is by far the best.

Customer service experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I used the "order pickup" button and proceeded to the Storefront by DoorDash pickup option to avoid fees. My order was confirmed with an email. When I arrived, she said that they did not receive the order and that they do not have online ordering. She said that they have had this happen to several customers and blamed the problem on DoorDash. She took my order again and charged my card again. I then showed her that my card was charged twice for the food, not to DoorDash but Hong Kong directly, and she refused to give me a refund. She said I needed to call my bank and report fraud because that would be easier. Therefore, I was charged over $100 for my food that took over an hour to receive and I have to call my credit card company because Hong Kong's online ordering platform is a scam.

Really good Moo Shu Pork! I mean REALLY good! And, even though it isn't on the menu, they make an equally tasty Chicken Egg Fu Yung! If you ask, they will make it for you. The only disappointment was the appetizer platter. The BBQ Pork was great. But, the fried shrimp (while tasty) were really greasy. The Egg Rolls were, too. The greasiness just ruined everything. So, I had to deduct a star. But, the staff is super nice and accommodating! Go, enjoy!

Soup portion for takeout is very small and my food selections were overcooked. They forgot the pancakes for the MuShu and when I called they just argued with me and said 'they know what they are doing and that I was wrong' Well, that didn't suddenly make the pancakes appear - haha ! And they didn't offer to rectify the issue.

Decent food and pricing. Orange Chicken, Seasame Chicken and Pork Fried Rice

Dingy, dirty and dimly lit sums up the location. Staff are rude and food taste/quality is mediocre at best. Would not recommend. Try Chan's or Double Happiness for this type of cuisine.

Best Wor Wonton soup in Bend (and I have tried them all). I don't eat pork & the cook accommodated me in not putting any sliced pork in the soup. Will only get Wor Wonton soup from Hong Kong Restaurant in the future.

I just walked in and had one person putting in a food order in front of me I sat down and let the bartender know what my drink order was. Simply a beer. He continued to take to drink orders that's were served to one person and another person walks in the door after I've been there orders and was served before me also took the food order from that person before me. never saw my beer. There for 10 minutes and walked out. Would have spent a couple hundred and tip well. His loss.

I got the Kung Pao Chicken and Garlic Chicken delivered via Door Dash. Was very good. Each dish can easily serve 2 people.

I would not recommend to anyone. Beware what was once a delicious place to eat has changed. very disappointed.

I got a combo dinner for one. There was a lot of food and a reasonable price. The sweet and sour pork had a different sauce than normal. It was good and the pork was nicely cubed and not overcooked. Overall it was a good meal at a fair price.
