We visited the High Desert Museum and stopped at the Rimrock for lunch. A really Great combination, the food was great and the Museum amazing. Highly recommended on both.

Options were much more limited than mens we’d seen online, especially for vegetarian kiddos. Would be helpful if that posted the menu online if it changes.

This little cafe inside the High Desert Museum is putting out some decent eats. The simple and basic Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich was fresh and healthy. Loved the peppered bacon along with the avocado and cheddar and was glad to see it on whole wheat bread. A healthy size portion of super crunchy onion rings with ranch made for the perfect lunch. The younger cashier recommended the Huckleberry Ginger cider by Bend Cider Co. Not normally into ciders but this refreshing combo hit the spot.Kids had the Chicken flavored Dinosaurs (chx nuggets). Was glad to see their fries were more like JoJos and that they offered sweet potato fries too. Meals came with a drink and were affordable hot food in a museum. Overall, the Rimrock cafe was a welcome surprise to our 1st time visit to the High Desert Museum.

Absolutely delicious and creative food. Such a lovely surprise to find in a museum. Their catering is also top notch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Their menu is always changing as well!

I really needed a coffee pick me up at the museum & later we needed lunch. Wasn't expecting much but they seem to be on the right track. With a few tweaks, this could be pretty good for a concession type operation. The space is attractive & well designed and furnished with lots of natural light, and plenty of outdoor seating as well. I had the falafel salad which came with a generous amount of greens, four falafel patties which were tasty but wayyy over salted, pickled red cabbage which tasted like straight vinegar, and pickled onions which were delicious. It did leave me feeling satisfied but not stuffed. Mr. Crankypants had the burger which he deemed "not bad for this type of establishment" but be forewarned it comes with bacon & cheese which seems a little weird, usually those are add ons. If I lived in the area I would probably pack a picnic lunch to take to the museum, but if that's not practical or you're visiting in bad weather, Rimrock is a viable option.

Great little cafe with lots of options, located in the middle of the Museum. Outdoor seating area as well as a decent indoor eating area.

So glad to have found this wonderful spot for lunch inside the high desert museum! We both ordered salads. My husband had the seared ahi tuna and I had the grilled salmon. Both were excellent. I highly recommend stopping in here for lunch if you're spending a half-day at the museum.

The café had delicious choices, and the staff was very helpful. My friend and I ate very good, fresh salads.

I went with the bowl of chili and it was very tasty, my other half went with a hot dog, it was average with above average price. Next time we will pack our lunch. The staff was very friendly.
