I made the mistake to take my friend who was visiting to this place. The worst food I ate in a restaurant.I ordered the mushrooms gnocchi and it was very thick and barely warm. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich that was less than mediocre. They use the chipest chicken meat in the chicken sandwich: a small piece of tight that was cold and the yellow fat was not even removed. The server was very slow and inattentive. How cam you ruin such a beautiful location with such poor quality food ?They don’t have bread ( even upon request) as normal restaurants do. Don’t ever go there if you don’t want to ruin your meal .

I was very impressed with this place. We ate here with a party of 12 on Easter morning, our server was absolutely amazing, as were the food and drinks. The atmosphere is perfect, and it was the exact vibe that we were looking for. Lots of diverse options on the menu so it easily catered to my allergy-ridden family.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for vegetarians and vegans

Decent food for a hotel restaurant. Staff was excellent. Not the most expensive place in town, but a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, a good place to go in Bend to get away from the crowds downtown.

The restaurant was very nice and clean and attractive inside. I had a reservation, there was plenty of seating for a late lunch on a Sunday...no particular table was reserved for us. I was uncertain of he exact menu for that time of the day. It is unclear online or on their FB page what food offerings is available at what time. It was not the brunch menu. I don't normally eat meat and (what I think was the lunch menu) was very very small. It was either a salad or spicy shrimp. They were out of meatless patty options bummer! The food itself was good. I feel it was a good value. The waitress has zero enthusiasm, or interest in us. That and the very small menu with very few options leads me to believe I won't try it again.

Our food order wasn't put in by our server and we had to remind them that we had ordered Salmon and Steak, they never acknowledged the mistake, they offered a free desert item for the wait

I was hoping for an elevated dining experience and nothing we ate surprised or delighted. The food was pedestrian at best. It kind of reminded me of being at the Denver airport and choosing a full service place like Elway's so you could avoid the food court. Better than the Panda Express, but not where you would go if you weren't on a long layover.

Nice ambiance and convenient location in the Oxford Hotel. The food quality and taste were good. The service was slow and they didn't bring the entree for one person. We had to order it again and it came 5 minutes before we needed to leave. This is the second time in three visits that this has happened.

We went there for my girlfriends birthday dinner they did not have what she wanted and would not make changes to her meal the staff did nothing to help celebrate her big day like most upscale restaurants do don't get me wrong the food was good and the restaurant it self is amazing. And the desserts are truly next level but the lack of customer service was not up to par at all. We would go back again but only for drinks and dessert. But never again for a special occasion.

Tried Roam for the 1st time and was not impressed. Ordered the special, a filet mignon - received a charred tough ribeye. The starter, salad, cocktail were all good. The restaurant did acknowledge the poor execution on the main and comp'd the main. The service and atmosphere was good. We went across the street to one of of our favorite restaurants for desert and sat next to a couple guys that had a similar experience at Roam a week earlier. Hopefully, this was a anomaly but will so many other great options in town, we probably won't be back.

Fantastic. Can’t wait to return. We visited for lunch on Christmas Day. They had their full brunch menu with a large variety of egg, sandwich, and salad options. I had one of the smoke salmon eggs benedict and my wife had the turkey club. Both arrived hot and nicely presented and were delicious. They were unfortunately out of cranberry bitters, so I couldn’t try the Griswold cocktail and settled for their Midnight Manhattan, which was solid, though the amaro was not particularly noticeable in the flavor. Dessert was a no-brainer with a menu of crème brûlée options to choose from. We went traditional vanilla and were not disappointed. Right up there with the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had. The hostess and our server were very pleasant and ensured we were well taken care of. A really great experience in all respects.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians and pescatarians. I’m veggie/pesc so I didn’t probe too deeply on vegan options, but it seemed workable.Parking: No dedicated parking lot, but plenty of parking options within a 2-3 minute walk. On-street parking is free (2hr max), though you might have to park a few blocks away on a busy day. There are garages (I’ve never used) and paid lots nearby.

ROAM was very nice and I was pleasantly surprised since I had no idea what we were getting into because it was a last minute booking. It turned out to be really good. Food was delicious, and I really liked the space. The waitress was friendly and fairly attentive, but could have been better trained since I had to ask questions about most of the things she should have been telling us. Overall, I'd give the place a 4, which is very good, just not great. Great is reserved for exceptional experiences.

I came here in November with 7 girlfriends and it was a wonderful experience! I wanted to bring my husband last night to show him. Unfortunately, service felt very different than before. The hostess was also our waitress--long waits between visits to our table. She visited us a total of 3 times (drinks, dinner order, bill). Our drinks took 20 minutes to come. We were not offered a dessert menu--just our bill. It just seemed like they wanted to be done with us. Such a bummer. The ambiance is so nice!

Roam never disappoints. Breakfast, lunch, appetizers and drinks at the bar, and dinner service have always been wonderful experiences for us. That's why it's our “go to.”
