Hi, an apology and a review. I am the guy that walked in Saturday around 9 something and had all the cameras on. I was intoxicated, yes. I came in roughly I believe and started to go into shooting mode without thinking about anyone but me I believe I was loud. I apologize for shooting a pic that had folks in it without asking my real goal was to get a shot of the restaurant/bar I promise. Not its patrons. I love downtown Bend all its many wonders. The wine I had was delicious. I am truly sorry I upset your bar tender, truly. You have a great place here I just wanted to capture it, I see other folks have, so I guess he was just done with me and so after asking if I just photo the wine shelves and replying I rather you not I got the hint and left. The owner has still not paid me for 2 different shifts that I trained it work there despite reaching out twice to her. She was so neurotic, chaotic and stressful to try to work around that I could not go back. Zero stars.

Melanie is a gem!!! Wine is delish. A must visit if your in town!! This stop-through gives you a great way to taste the different varieties of Oregon wines. Must do!!

I think it's a bad sign when the bar staff can't even pronounce the name of the wine at a wine bar. Overall we were very unimpressed, especially when you compare this place to Ferm & Fare around the corner. Now that's a wine shop & tasting room! Decor seemed to be a hodge podge with no real design aesthetic.

My friend and I were lucky enough to stay across from The Wine Shop recently and were lured in by the cozy lighting and beautiful wall of wines. We had a wonderful time speaking with the owner about local wines and producers, the terroir, and our travels. The wine selection was great and the bites were equally delicious. This will definitely be back for another special night.

Fantastic selection of wines and a brewery tasting room on site that had amazingly good beers. Super friendly staff was an extra bonus.
I bought a great bottle of white for $20 and the service was friendly. They have good Oregonian white choices!
