I wish I took more photos of the resturant appearance inside and out. They greet you as soon as you come in and water is given right away. The decor was OUTSTANDING. Fine lights and a touch of fairytale land decor. Once you visit you’ll know what I mean. The bread that’s given to hold us over tasted amazing with the sliced butter. Food was given within enough time to get our big conversations out of the way before stuffing our faces. Portion sizes are enough to finish or take home half depending how hungry you’re. The service topped off the whole dinner. Would recommend anyone visiting or living in Bend to try.

My friends and I went to the Jackelope for girls night tonight and it’s our new fav! The restaurant itself was beautiful and the ambience was so soothing. The servers on the floor were so delightful and attentive!! It was so refreshing going to a fine dining spot where you can tell staff and management do the most to give their guests the most pleasant experience. To top that off, the food was amaaaazing. I’ve never had better dungeness crab 10/10 I will be coming back often and recommending to my friends. Thank you guys for a great girls night out.

Gorgeous restaurant! Food is amazing, service is amazing! Hannah our server is exceptionally knowledgeable on the menu and so friendly! The salmon dinner was perfect, the potatoes were delicious, and the asparagus was fresh!

First, let me say the food was excellent. My wife and I had the salmon. Cooked to perfection with a wonderful , smoky taste. Nice wine selection with a good variety both in type and price range. We had a very nice Albariño which paired well with the fish. So why only 3 stars? Poor service. It started when we placed our orders. My wife and I both ordered appetizers. Mine came to the table but not my wife's. Our server was nowhere to be found. Finally, after almost 15 minutes we flagged down another server who said they would check. He found our server who came over to the table and told us since she assumed we'd be sharing, she had the appetizers coming out separately. We never asked for that. We told the server to cancel it. Her appetizer was eventually found, but since it arrived with the first course we cancelled it again. The manger came over and apologized. Her excuse was the appetizers were made at two different stations. Not a good reason. When she presented us with the bill she told us she was comping my wife's appetizer. Really? An appetizer we never got or ate she wasn't charging us for? Plenty of other good restaurants in town.

This is not the Jackalope of the past. The menu is limited. The service was mediocre, and the food was just average. The dessert, Cream Brulé, was an embarrassment. It was served in what looked like a ramekin and the Cream Bruce barely covered the bottom of the dish. At this point the restaurant is off our list.

Amazing food, great service. If you go for a birthday, be sure to mention it

For the price the food was mediocre at best. Escargot and carpaccio lacked flavor. Rib eye was very gristly and again lacking in flavor. Ordered medium rare and was served medium well. Brussel sprouts were dry and semi raw. Salmon was good. Service was good .

We had a reservation at 7pm. When we got there, we waited for 10 for anyone to acknowledge us. When we got seated, there were only two other tables being served. It took forever, with one serve to get anything. After the other two tables left, the staff was cleaning and practically closing up shop while we were eating. They turned the music off, and were hollering to each other in the back! Food was over priced, portions small, and service terrible!!! Would not recommend!!!

It was an enjoyable evening; I missed out on the ribeye I was looking forward to, due to later than normal 7:45pm seating...will remember to reserve an earlier table to partake in full menu selection next time. Our server was wonderful...salmon was scrumptious!

We had a wonderful time at Jackalope and highly recommend it to anyone looking to dine in a restaurant that offers excellent food, service and ambiance. It is intimate and quiet and the perfect spot to dine with your special someone or another couple. We will definitely be returning!

Sadly gone is the old Jackalope. We had dinner there last night and not only was the service some of the worst service I’ve ever had, but the meal was unremarkable. It was well prepared but completely uninspired. Steak, salmon, chicken all just pretty plain.

Our experience was wonderful at the Jackalope! The service was incredibly attentive to us, and the food on par with South Bend Bistro. I will absolutely continue to frequent both. Thanks so much for the amazing experience!

The service was some of the worst service ever. The food was well prepared but nothing special, salmon, steak, chicken all pretty plain.

The food was excellent! The drinks were a mixed bag (the margarita was difficult to identify as a drink but the wine was superb). Overall, we would highly recommend the restaurant.
