I have been coming to village baker for years and I love it!! The chicken salad sandwich i craze everyday! The lemon poppyseed shortbread cookie as well as tomato basil soup with a rosemary roll are amazing. The customer service can be quite rude and sometimes dry pastries but this place still is one of my favorites!

I came for bagels because someone else mentioned bagels, but to clarify THERE ARE NOT BAGELS HERE. Maybe there are if you want to bake them yourself or something. I wanted bagels for breakfast so I didn't try the food, five stars by default.

Needed a quick, tasty, healthy lunch, and Village Baker hit all three! Roasted turkey sandwich with good cheese and loaded with fresh vegetables on delicious bread was perfect, and the shortbread cookies were superb.

Visiting the area and got bread, pastries and bagels for our condo vacation. All were delicious.

Their bread is so delicious and they will slice it up for you if you ask. Go early because they do sell out. I have loved them all but my favorite is the striata. The GF shortbread cookies are yummy too. I haven't tried their coffees or sandwiches yet, but they are always busy at lunch with to go orders. My only wish is that they were open Sunday/Mondays.
