Went to the Westside Tavern today. It was the worst experience. Most bars are featuring March Madness basketball at this this time of the year. This dive was showing people making and sharpening knives and then attacking lifelike human torsoes that bled. I told the bar tender how disturbing it was and her response was that they have to practice on something.This is a disgusting place!

I went to the West Side Tavern thinking it would be interesting to visit a dive bar in the heart of Bends assortment of fine breweies. This place was discusting. Rather than featuring sports on their monitors, they were showing low rent people sharping knives and attacking lifelike human torsoes that bled when they were slashed and stabbed. I told the bar tender how disturbing it was and she said "they have to practice on something". This is a terrible place and there are a lot of great options in Bend. This place is discusting!

This place is the armpit of Bend, disgusting bartenders that stink and bark at you like a dog. Seriously the female bartenders need to work on their hygiene, try wiping for starts! Completely disgusting!

A local's bar in the old-school tradition. You won't find a huge tap list nor an expansive menu of tasty eats. If that's what you're looking for, try one of the three brewpubs right across the street. But Westside is a solid spot for a few drinks, at least early in the day/evening (no idea about late night), and you're welcome to bring outside food, maybe from the trucks at The Lot or from the nearby pizza joint.

2 pool tables, video poker, some food, beer, wine and mixed drinks. I see all different ages of people when I go there. But it does lean more towards a crowd mostly younger than me. The place does get busy (a bit crowded) on the weekends along with also being loud and fun. If this is what you're looking for then I recommend going.

This place is what you expect. Bartender was great after coming from a pretentious place that refused to serve certain drinks. Don't come to order food but they let to bring in your own food.
