What a great evening! So different than any other place we have visited in Brookings! The atmosphere, food, drink and staff were the highest quality. We enjoyed a wonderful tasting flight of 4 wines while snacking on the most beautiful tasty charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, dried fruits, homemade preserves and herbs. (The board was so packed it served as our dinner!) They had a wide range of wine available and shared information and recommendations on all of them….very knowledgeable staff! Then we enjoyed a live excellent vocal performance of a wide range of classic and contemporary songs. Will definitely return next time we are in town and highly recommend to others!

Wow...! What a nice time... huge selection of great wines... a wonderful charcuterie board... and William made us feel so comfortable as he welcomed us... described the different wines and items on the board... We will certainly return soon...(lucky us) Oh... by the way... Hayley Marie has such a beautiful voice... and added to our immense pleasure of the evening...

Holy cow this place is a gem with wine expert Will and singer Haley. OMG Haley is a fab singer and the atmosphere is amazing. Will is a wine expert and can recommend wines to your taste. I almost didn’t want to post this to keep this place secret. But they are just too good.

There’s HANDS DOWN no better place in Brookings or the near vicinity where you’re going to find and feel this kind of atmosphere. The excellence here is five star all the way and my only hope is for more people to come and get The Station 1949 experience at least once in their life.

Very expensive and very empty for the entire Fri evening we went there. Purchase the $7 lager (cheapest item on the menu) listen to the excellent singer for 2 sets and you and your date can escape for $20. This place will likely fold soon due to outrageous

William and his sister deliver great customer service and delicious unique snack trays(hummus my favorite). William is very knowledgeable about wines but is unpretentiousness and extremely friendly. We had a wonderful 3.5 hour evening in this charming establishment. Highly recommend…but make reservations!! We’ll be back!!

Had a fantastic evening at The Station 1949. Atmosphere is is chill and relaxed, reminiscent of old time 40/50’s era vibe with tasteful decor and great music. They don’t have a full menu but they do serve up some amazing charcuterie boards loaded with tons of fresh fruits, veggies, exceptional cheeses and a flavorful homemade hummus. The prosciutto wrap was to die for, packed full of flavor with the perfect mix of spice. If you aren’t a wine drinker, they’ve got a great selection of beer choices too. Overall, I was impressed and would highly recommend stopping in. Place makes for an excellent date night or even just a fun evening out just because.
