This was such a great stop! We went twice during our weekend stay and had great pastries and cookies each time. Baked in-house, all their delicacies are decent sized, reasonably priced (comparatively for the current economy), and the coffee was good too. I always love a quality pastry with my coffee, so we'll definitely be stopping in again next time we're in town.
I was looking for coffee and the bakery was the only place open early in the morning. More importantly, was the doughnuts and pastries that I found. I chose to get an assorted box so was able to pick all of my favorites. The staff was kind and friendly giving me a welcoming feeling. Which started my morning with a smile. We got a fairly last minute cake for my daughter's birthday here and there was a bit of a mixup, but we were still able to bring home a cake she loved and enjoyed. The way that management handled the issue was with class, and above and beyond. We ended up really happy with our cake and the customer service. The cake was not overly sweet, which we really enjoyed as so many cakes these days are just too much to handle with all the sugar they pour into it! We will return here next...read full review
