Today was my first visit to Comal Bar & Grill and also my first restaurant review. It was such a wonderful experience I wanted to spread the word. Hubby had the chicken tortilla soup and quote “ it’s the best he has ever had”. We also shared the chicken flautas and they were amazing. Crispy shells, perfect cooked chicken with fresh guacamole … etc. portions were so large we have leftovers for dinner. We can’t wait to go back.

The Corner Club in Central Point Oregon is quite the icon. I just learned about it's present location just recently. The building itself is Awesome and the History from whom knows when. The Bar tender is quite cute and on Top of her job, I give them a Top Star Rating.

The bartender and the wait staff made me feel safe. Which is a very rare luxury as a women especially in a bar. She even express that she was keeping an eye on our drinks to keep us safe. The atmosphere was mellow. The food was really good. And it's over all a nice little place.
Great people. Great atmosphere. Heated smoke section. Burger was the best burger I've ever had. Literally the only thing was the pool table was sub par but man that cheeseburger made me not care

Bartender had major attitude towards me when I ordered my drinks every time I’d go up there. Order a beer and I could hear her sigh. By myself playing slots asked for a drink she comes back with a shot so asked for beer 2 and snaps at me to order all at once next time. Ah no next time I’ll go elsewhere with my money

I've been a regular at this little tavern for over 30 years and my stepsons have been regulars for almost that long. It's a casual atmosphere where you don't feel self-conscious if you show up by yourself (a big issue for a lot of women).As for the comment left by the girl that said "the guy spit in her food". I'm curious about who that could've been since there are no male employees working there (at least not at the time she posted that bad review). I've never heard of anything like that happening and you know small bar talk - if that had happened everyone would have been talking about it for weeks ?.
