Generous portions and comfortable ambiance. It was a perfect place for my friend and I to go after attending a burial at the nearby cemetery.

We went to celebrate Mcmenamins Sunnyside Birthday. Got mini cupcakes. Definitely fun. They had their special birthday menu in celebration of the birthday event. Service was awesome. The server came and check on us a few times. It was very enjoyable. And of course "Happy Birthday Sunnyside Mcmenamins!!!"

The service here is SO good! We were promptly greeted, and checked in on regularly (but not too often to be annoying). We were really happy about that.We tried some new food we don't normally order - the onion rings (yum!) and the vegan gyro. The onion rings were FANTASTIC and the Vegan Gyro was excellent! Overall very nice experience.

We went in for burgers and fries. My boyfriend ordered his plain and dry as he always does. When they served his burger it had everything on it. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and the cook just put it on another bun. It still tasted like onions which he does not like. Will not ne

Food is basic pub features. That's not a knock! It's delicious as the staff is amazingly kind and provide top notch customer service

Comfortable and pleasant dinner with my family. Food was actually better than expected, the beer was tasty, and a very picky eater I had with me finished the whole plate. Our server, Mike, was probably the best part though. He was welcoming, attentive, helpful, and patient with the kids. Thanks Mike!Kid-friendliness: My picky eater had nothing left but a full belly and a smile!

Called for a To-Go order in the evening and was told 45 minutes. The person who answered was not friendly, like they didnt want a to go order, so I said I would call another time. Called again a few days later, around 3 o'clock. Phone rang, kept ringing, then (what it seemed like) was that the phone was picked up and hung up. No one ever answered. Pretty Bad IMO ?

January 2024 brought down an ice storm on Portland. With no power in a freezing house, we knew we had to get out. The Quality Inn & Suites, Clackamas, found us a room, and our luck continued with finding a McManaman's Pub across the parking lot. The warm, cozy dining room and friendly staff turned this into an unplanned mini vacation. Special thanks to the care and humor of Sadie, who made us feel like family.

McMenamins is known for their incredible locations that add a lot of charm. I forget it is a chain. There isn't a nearby "cool location" version from Happy Valley, so decided to try their strip mall version. And it is probably the last time that I will. The salty/season dusted Cajun tots were great. But that's about all the positive thoughts I had. For a pretty empty restaurant, I was surprised how long it took to make a bunch of burgers, fried food, and a sandwich. The burger prices were all Around $17-19... but man, they kind of stunk. Very fat patty made a tall burger. Overcooked (not badly, but beyond medium by a bit meant it was dry. 5 Guys and Killer burger win by a mile. Kids menu also leans greasy/fried, but was largely successful. Dessert also disappointing and the brownie texture was just wrong and the ice cream was more cheap-gallon-tub vanilla than Ben and Jerry's or better. I try to rate places based on what they are trying to do. McMenamins is a local chain with some greasy fried food and beer. The beer is solid. The food was lame and overpriced compared to similar restaurants. So they achieve what they are doing, but there are a lot of places I'd rather go instead for a burger and beer.

It's a McMenamins, like most of the others, less character than the better ones.
