We saw the signage on Highway 101, directing us to get fresh fish and chips right on the water, and made a spur of the moment decision to stop in. We’re so glad we did! The batter was light, the seafood was fresh and delicious, the location and floating patio were charming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
The fish and chips were wonderful. The fish was obviously handcut, lightly breaded, fried crisp and brought to the table just out of the fryer. Served super hot and delightfully crisp and still juicy. The coleslaw had dried cranberries and handcut cabbage. The fries are good. There's malt vinegar on the table. I have now eaten fish and chips at every coastal restaurant south of Coos Bay and north of Ensenada, and nothing compares to this place. The owners are also just some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. We miss y'all.
