I guess I expected this place to be an Italian type looking place with Italian food. Instead I got the "garbage sandwich" and it was basically an onion sandwich.! Barely any meat heated up with hard(cooled down melted cheese )and pickles and a lot of sautéed onions. Wish I would have taken a picture. For $13.99! Sorry but I'll never be back!

AMAZING sandwich and service!!! My husband and I just LOVE the gut grinder that we try to get here every Tuesday on our day date. Its the best sandwich I've ever had! The owner has a fabulous personality and she goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make great food and a friendly experience. Thank you for this traditional lunch spot for my husband and I. We will be back!

I don't get to eat here enough. Great prices, even better food. Luigi's is one of the very few. Locally owned businesses left in Coos County. That gives us something to be proud of.Kid-friendliness: Right next to sunset middle school, it's a great spot to stop after school games or events. Or even just to pick up dinner when you might be too tired to whip anything up. Just call and order ahead and pick up on the way way home from picking the kids up from school.

So used to the garbage grinder, here in medford, I think I was a little disappointed with this one. I ordered 2 lrg ones and it was nothing like it. The sandwich I got was ok, but not what I was expecting. The service was great. The shop was bigger than in medford. But it didn't matter when the sandwich was a bummer.

We've driven past Luigi's a few times and really wanted to stop, and I'm glad we did! The sandwiches were a little different than expected (my cheese and veggie grinder looked like a french bread pizza) but it was good! My husband thought the french dip was heart with a good au jus, and the cheese bread was very nostalgic. Overall would recommend this place for a quick and easy lunch!Vegetarian options: The cheese and veggie grinder was hearty and I didn't feel like I was missing anything/Parking: The lot behind the building is small but street parking is easy to find
