Really enjoyed our meal here. The service and food were excellent. The salad was fresh and our pasta dishes were all delicious. My husband's berry pie was yummy, too. Definitely plan to return next time I'm in town.

This was our second visit to Bellhop. The first one last Friday, we arrived a bit later and it felt like the staff was a bit overwhelmed. We didn't have either of the signature dishes on the visit, so we thought we'd try again. We arrived earlier and were seated right away. We ordered an IPA & old fashioned and then some fries to start. The fries arrived fairly quickly and were hot & crisp. After a few bites both of us agreed that they seemed to be missing something, they just seemed bland. Don't know why...I really wanted to love them, but it was as if there was zero potato flavor to them. We ordered the fried chicken and the meatloaf, which again came out in a reasonable amount of time. Both came with mashed red potatoes (skin on), chicken gravy for the chicken and a sausage cream gravy with the meatloaf. My people are from the South, so I was very excited to try the chicken. Again, crisp on the outside and hot... the plate was disproportionate with a huge (and I mean huge) pile of potatoes with a good amount of gravy, the veggie was green beans with yellow squash, along side of the there pieces (leg, wing & thigh). The veggies were the best thing on my plate, properly seasoned and cooked perfectly. The gravy, while it had a good "chicken" flavor, was in need of both salt and pepper. The chicken, if it's brined it doesn't come through, was lacking flavor and the white meat was dry. When I asked him how the meatloaf was the response was "dry," which was apparent from the crusted edges. This plate also came with a huge portion of the mashed potatoes but with a cream sausage gravy. I found myself stealing gravy from his plate as I was accustomed to a cream gravy with the fried chicken my family made. I wish they served a cream gravy with the chicken... it just needed pepper and it was perfect. My fiancée is not a picky eater, but this was the second time we were let down by Bellhop, so we won't likely give them another try. The overall ambiance is lacking with harsh lighting and chairs stacked in the corner. The staff and service this trip was much improved from our visit last week. That visit we had pasta and the eggplant parm. I thought both of those dishes were leaps and bounds above what we had tonight. Staff could use a little bit of training on how to interact with their guests... all in all, with some improvements, this could be a real gem. Just needs some fine tuning.Vegetarian options: Several on the menu..

I've been a fan of Chef Brian's cooking since his Luc days. So sad when they closed, but now Bellhop is one of my favorite places in Corvallis. I've never had a disappointing meal here, love the atmosphere, and I very much appreciate the use of seasonal, local food. My husband wishes the seating was just a tad bit more comfortable.

How did I forget this place?!? Went there over spring break and grabbed an early breakfast here. We ate well with my oldest getting a breakfast sandwich with roasted potatoes, a protein breakfast bowl and a Latin inspired dish for myself. Very delicious and beautifully decorated. Check it out for yourself.

We ordered french dip, and Hungarian mushroom pasta with brisket added. And for the table, we got pickle board and poutine. Food was great and the portions were huge! Forgot to take pictures of poutine and French dip haha I'd definitely revisit!

Drove to Corvallis to take our granddaughter for her birthday dinner. We started with a shared salad and bread plate. My reason for 4 stars is that bread should be free!! I had the Hungarian mushroom, which was good but not quite flavorful enough. My husband really enjoyed his fried chicken sandwich with fries. Excellent service, attentive and quick.

Is one of my favorite go to messages. The menu is small and the drinks are fun/creative.

Went here for brunch and ordered the eggs benedict. It seemed like the eggs were sous-vide, but extremely undercooked (the whites were watery and unset). The potatoes were cut into large pieces and under seasoned. The best part was the bread, but it didn't feel like it went well with the dish (it was thick texas toast that seemed like it would be more appropriate for french toast).

This is my fave restaurant in Corvallis and has been for years--I still visit whenever I'm in town. The fried chicken & mashed potato plate is always delicious!! The decor is adorable and their staff is always lovely.

Best Bloody Mary I've ever had! It was super busy on a Sunday but the drinks and food were worth the wait. I had the pork hash which was very good. Hubs got the breakfast sandwich. It was huge and also very good. We will be back to try more dishes.

Really great food. I love that the food is more upscale than a lot of options around without being too expensive. Can't go wrong with any of the pasta dishes, I especially like the mushroom one

I had to ask my server for synonyms for fantastic just to describe the food I just ate. The meal was fresh, delicious, and creative. I had a caprese salad, brisket, and fried chicken, while my colleague opted for the fried chicken lunch. Both were generous portions and delectable. I cannot say enough good about Bellhop. My next meal here can't be soon enough!
