Great space but I am continuously disappointed with the food. I hope that a 100% honest review will help. I’The German food needs a complete reset. The German spatzle don’t taste anything like spatzle. The paprikash just honestly had no flavor. It’s like American people who decided “hey I can make German food”. I would LOVE to the recipe change and actually be more German if you’re going to call it German food. It’s just the entire menu is lacking. Maybe look at others in the area who have had success and see what they’re doing. You can still be yourself but just see how they’re approaching it. Stammtish in Portland does it right. I feel like with German food you gotta go 100% or not at all since the ingredients can be expensive. Please do better.

Via DoorDash: Ordered the Chicken Paprikash and it arrived (from a 3 minute drive away where the driver had to wait for the order) barely lukewarm, as though it had been reheated and not at all to temp; it was a clear safety issue and I was unable to continue eating it. It should have still been piping hot. Also for those expecting something different, this dish uses what tastes like smoked (vs sweet) paprika which was jarring and not particularly pleasant. The Nussecken flavor was fine albeit quite a bit softer than I expected. If lifted, it would have fallen apart that is how wet it was. Not sure if over-drenched or if the shortbread was not cooked all the way.

Have been to a few live music nights and they have all been great. Food is good and it's a chill environment. The outside heated benches are really nice when it's cold and I don't feel overcrowded when I'm here.

Kalimantan Bistro could be the Best Lamb Gyro I've ever had. Just got back from Greece, they put French Fries in their Gyro's. Not a fan. This place blows them out of the water!!! When in Corvallis, Or, it's a must!

Seating is competitive on trivia night, parking is nonexistent lol. Lines were long, food was okay, kids corner is underwhelming. Vibe is good, bathrooms on site were clean which was nice.

I went here because they had a poke pop up and just had to try it! It's was decent with the avocado being too salty and the price being way too high at $20 for the small bowl. The falafel wrap for $9 was great, I loved the bread and the falafel itself! The round it off a blueberry blackberry fruit soda that was unlike anything I've had before it was amazing!Other than that the area was really clean and relaxing and the employees were extremely nice, I would come back again just for the feel of the place!

There were only two food trucks opened. We tried a few from each truck. They are good. Beer is delicious. To top it off the bingo game was fun

Nice selection of beers with friendly service. I tried the German food tonight. It was ok. The pork schnitzel sliders were a bit disappointing. They seemed a bit overcooked/overfried/burnt as if the oil had gotten old. I don't think I'd opt for those again.

We had their soup special, tomato artichoke. It was amazing. Served with warm pita slices. It’s are favorite place to eat. Staff is always so nice and friendly. All the food carts serve authentic style food. Fun to try something new, not just typical burgers and fries. Beer is amazing and you can’t beat the price. Staff is a wealth of information on the beers they serve. Highly recommend!!

My daughter and I enjoyed it, have not had German food in a long time. A pleasant surprise tucked away in Common Fields' shared food truck venue! And I was able to grab a nice mulled cider at the CF bar, too :) Great for a December dining out. Will be back for more sausages!

This place was great. My bf and I were visiting from Eugene because we had a pint passport that included a few places in Corvallis. This place was on the list. We each had a beer and a few of the dishes from the food carts outside. My beer was the oat soda from Baerlic. It was a nice easy drink. I forgot what my bf ordered. Then I got the coconut chicken soup and veggie samosas from Nai Nai's Burmese food outside. It was delicious! My bf ordered a chicken shwarma from the other food cart. That was good too! I love how the outdoor seating has heat lamps and heated seats! The bathroom was clean and even had women's sanitary napkins. Awesome!

Nifty idea for a food court set in an unusual space: Common Fields is a collection of four small food trucks on the site of a former gas station. In addition to Greek (well, Mediterranean), German, Burmese and Salvadoran cuisine, there is a permanent structure housing a bar with many local offerings (beers, ciders, wines, etc.). The quality of the food and its pricing makes it a good spot to get a tasty lunch on a sunny day. The space itself encourages making that lunch leisurely. If it's raining--hardly an unusual phenomenon in Corvallis--you can certainly get that meal to go. Personal faves were the chicken schwarma and the Muhammara dip at the Greek spot.Well worth a trip if you haven't been.

Great beer selection, friendly service, and fun food trucks. Love the outdoor seating.

Kristina Garcia,I am responding to your review. Corvallis does have a restaurant where you can eat German food. It is called Beerhaus and is at 101 NW Jackson Ave. They are open 3::00-11:00 Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00-12:00AM Friday, 24 hours on Saturday, 9:00AM-9:00PM on Sunday. I have eaten there for brunch on a Saturday and dinner on a weeknight and enjoyed it very much.

Food is great! Wish there was more potato salad with the entrees but overall good place. Interesting (in a good way!) sourkraut.
