I don't give reviews, but I met the owner who works the counter most days, and they were very nice. The price is worth the quality and quantity of food. The hours are odd but needed for prep time, which shows when they're busy. I've been in there when it has been packed, and I've never waited longer than 10 minutes, even when they were making takeout orders. I stick to the katsu and musubi. This is the only place I can find these dishes in Corvallis and despite this they are some of the best I've had. Overall, fast and friendly service, large tasty dishes, and some unique items for a 'teriyaki' joint.

the food wasn’t great, it wasn’t worth the $30 i spent on two sushi rolls and a katsu bowl. the pork was dry, the rice was old, it was very reminiscent of buffet style sushi

Amazing food with a relaxed atmosphere and nice staff. They just got GF teriyaki sauce! They have the best sesame balls I've ever had!

Gluten Sensitive-friendly!! The best food and best service I've had in Corvallis since I moved here. The gluten free teriyaki sauce in their teriyaki bowls is incredible, the sesame balls are the best, and the quality of their sushi is unmatched. This review is a thank you to Shogun Bowl for being my favorite place to eat in town. It sounds cheesy but it's true. 10/10 recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Sensitive Options!

This was my first time at Shogun Bowl, but my son kept telling me how great the food is so I had to try it. It was really, really good! We had beef yakisoba, sweet potato tempura, spring rolls, pot stickers, beef teriyaki, and takoyaki. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was quick and efficient, and the lady that helped us was friendly and assisted me with understanding some of the foods. I will definitely visit again!

Nothing wrong with the service or atmosphere but the food is just lazy and gross. Maybe the ramen is okay or something else there might be okay, but the yakisoba and the pork fried rice was expensive and gross. Do yourself a favor and go to chipotle across the street.Parking: Monday 7:30pm shogun was empty but all the other places nearby must have been busy because the lot was full.

This is an excellent restaurant that is super close to the OSU campus. I would recommend the shogun bowl and the jalapeno bomb if you do go here. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and will go out of their way to make sure that the customer experience is amazing. The food is also great for dine in or take out. Please support this local business!

Updated: 29 September 2022Friendly owners.Tasty food.I've been customer of Shogun Bowl over the years; only recently did I realize I didn't write a review, eventhough I rated Shogun Bowl highly. My most purchased meal is the Chicken Katsu Curry. However, there are plenty of other good dishes.Additional, interaction I have enjoyed & appreciated:In 2019 I had surgey on my shoulder. The owner shown consideration for me by holding the door open for me.More recently, it has been some months since my prior visit. One of the owners recognized me & remembered the dish I would often order.Far as I can remember, each visit has been pleasant. And, those who I have brought with me have also enjoyed their food.

Good food and a fairly good selection of menu items. I particularly like the vegan and vegetarian dishes.

I really like their spicy ramen and curry rice for no reason, they used to be affordable and cheap, but now they are kinda expensive, it’s something you can get really quick if you are around campus.

I came here for dinner with my friend and we were pretty satisfied with our food but were a little disappointed with the lack of flavor in the chicken fried rice and the small portion of chicken in the chicken katsu. I'd like to go back to try other dishes! Otherwise very friendly staff and clean restaurant with lots of choices.

Love Shogun Bowl. Has been a great place to eat for a reasonable price all through college. Lovely people and friendly service.

Horrible place, overpriced and sad amount of food. Ordered spicy ramen and it was obviously prepackaged ramen from grocery store with an egg cracked inside
