Grew up with this as my favorite restaurant. I visited again after 10 years and the server remembered me and even most of my order. Will forever go here if I’m in the Grove.
The service was decent and the food came out pretty quickly. Coming from Southern California, about ten miles from the border with Mexico, I'm used to some authentic Mexican food. For being in Oregon, this place wasn't too bad. I'd say it wasn't Southern California food but I'd imagine it's probably the closest you're going to get. The restaurant seemed dated and could probably use a face lift. There was ample indoor seating. I'd give it another shot if I was in town.
