“A refreshing Mexican lunch. I got the taco plate. The beans were white which is different but it was the perfect balance with the meal. The rice was perfectly light and not over powering in flavor. The corn tortillas were amazing and the chicken filling was on point. The presentation was better than expected.“
“If I could give it more stars I would! The quesadillas here are the best I have ever had in my life. So much flavor in the fixings and the meat is seasoned to perfection. The owners are so friendly and quick. I will definitely be going back!“
“Such secret treasure. Their homemade tortillas melt in your mouth and the tortas are out of this world. They come with plenty of meat but I always order them with double meat. Right behind and to the south in the parking lot of Bi Mart in Springfield.“
“I stopped and got a pork sausage breakfast burrito this morning and it was sooo good! I have never ever had a bad meal at this place and the people that run it are so nice. It is a good thing and a bad thing that they are located so close to my work! Besides the food being great, the prices are good as well.“
“Absolutely amazing food, everyone working is just the nicest people all around. I go every week to get my breakfast burrito. Great customer service all around and I will continue to come back. They are also now in doordash for anyone curious and has “
“I have never experienced better customer service or food. I'll have a craving for this place and this place always delivers and more. The guy who runs the truck is amazing and will sit and have a conversation if he has the time. 10/10 love this place.“
“Best taco truck tacos and burritos in town, in my opinion. Full of flavor and authentically made, no hipster frills or inspirations. My husband and I also enjoy the queso birria tacos.Food is done in a timely fashion and cost effective. 10/10, will be back and highly recommend.“

“I've eaten here several times and I've yet to find something that wasn't amazing. The fusion flavors are unique (in a good way) and put a spin on traditional favorites, like nachos. Speaking of the nachos, skip a couple of meals or bring a hungry friend to split them with. Their bowls and tacos are equally inventive and delicious.“
“I checked this place out for the first time because I'm planning to buy something different for a superbowl party. I got one chicken soft taco. Seemingly so simple, yet easy to mess up, and sublime if done right. Okay, the filling was top notch and fabulous; an ample portion of very savory shredded chicken in a red sauce with sauteed onions and cilantro. The double street tortillas that were wrapped around it tasted like they were used right out of the package - raw, cold, dry, brittle and starchy. Soft corn tortillas need to be "cooked/warmed" in a little oil, or on a flat top, in an oven or microwave, and these were not, or not nearly sufficiently. Out of the two little containers of salsa that came with it - the red salsa was very good, but the green salsa container was "pooched" ( the lid was swollen upward) so that when I opened it, it popped or exploded - not a good sign, so I threw that oneout. Since I was in the restaurant business for thirty years in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and Atlanta, maybe like Gordon Ramsey, I can tell by one dish if the menu is a good one - in this case I can tell by one dish that the recipies are excellent, but the attention to detail needs to be improved to carry them out. If anyone wants to know the standard to aspire to in these parts, visit Mi Burrito on Lombard in North Portland; that hole in the wall is absolutely amazing! El Taco Express has some very serious good potential but needs a little tweaking in my estimation.“
“Wow! Incredible. Best pupusas I’ve had yet! I got a plain cheese one, a jalapeño and cheese and a loroco and cheese. So so so good. My husband got two carne asada tacos and a carne asada wet burrito. Such good flavor! We devoured it. We will be back and hopefully soon!“
“Um...yes! Went for tacos and was not disappointed. Best: Chorizo, Al Pastor, Tripe, and Carnitas. Full of flavor, moist, and a good price. Tortillas were probably house made. Staff spoke English and was friendly. If you are looking for authentic, Mexican tacos done right, go here!“
“I have heard nothing but good things about Nelson's, but I haven't been able to make it until last night. We ordered the taquittos, which were fried perfectly, smothered in guacamole without all the chunks I usually pass on guacamole over, and we're absolutely delicious.I also ordered a blood orange cadillac margarita, which was salty, sweet, and absolutely spectacular. My husband ordered a Paloma and said it was one of the best he's had.We then ordered a special Carne Asada Burrito smothered in enchilada sauce. My husband wasn't keen over the cinnamon in the sauce, but I found it delightful. I ordered a breakfast burrito that was filled with delicious bites of potato, eggs and sausage, and bacon.Overall, it was a delightful experience. We even got to meet Nelson's husband as he served guests and bustles around the dining room. We will be back for more!Compliments to Nelson!!!“
“I really, really like Pandita, and I think, in fairness to what they're trying to do, it's a better experience to dine-in than to get take out. This time around I picked up a burrito with carnitas for lunch. Really good; tasted fresh. The carnitas had a few crunchy bits, which I really like--gives it a bacon-y vibe. My only ding is that it's on the expensive side. $12.50 for a tasty burrito that is really good but not light-years head of El Super, in my opinion. They also added a 50-cent take-out container fee, which I get if it was in a take-out container. It was wrapped in foil and put into a paper bag. Ten cents? Okay. But, fifty cents for a paper bag? Add a modest tip, and now we're north of fourteen dollars. Again: Really good food, but it's definitely a once-in-a-great-while kind of place, price-wise. I saw a couple of construction workers ahead of me look at the menu and turn around without ordering. One commented that "the twist" was that it's overpriced. A bit harsh, but not totally untrue.“
“i love you guys, old school legit authentic food. reminds me of home. bravo to the owners. the workers are amazing. i hope they stay a looong time. love it. thank you!....and to the person saying the carne asada burrito only has meat, the true san diego style recipe is meat, pico, cilantro n onions and some guac, thats it...any REAL taco shop is where you get the old school san diego style, if you want beans and rice and other garbage inside you need to get a mission style, like from a restaurant. also, if you see a taco shop with a salsa bar, you know you are getting the legit stuff. burrito boy and burrito amigo isnt 100% real.“
