“Their newly redone old building a great for summer or winter. The views all seasons are good, outside space is great in the summer and fireplace brings a lot of warmth to the place. This could be a good place to have a family or company dinner. The wine selection is good too.“

Van Duzer Vineyards Wineries • $$

“After not being able to make a reservation online, I called and talked to a very nice gentleman. I told him we were coming home from the coast about 15 minutes away and asked if we could come in for a tasting. He said they weren't taking anymore tasting reservations for the day but we were welcome to come in for a glass of wine. We were welcomed in and the gentleman introduced us to Reegan who was very helpful and also very nice. They have a beautiful tasting room, with flavorful wines. On the enclosed unheated patio, they provide blankets. Lovely afternoon. We can't wait to go again when we can try more in a tasting.“

Wetzel Estate Winery •

“Just finished our first bottle of 2019 Gewurtztraminer. OUTSTANDING!! We are so happy with every purchase from this winery. Not only are the varietals exceptional, but they sell some very tasty infused grapeseed oils and a very special balsamic vinegar. The staff (Corina, Sue et al) is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. My favorite might be the 2016 Marechal Foch, but I haven't ever gotten a bad glass of wine here. In the summer, it is very relaxing to sit outside and listen to music while sipping a favorite. Enjoy!“

“On our first visit to Johan we were greeted by Max and Kyle with warm hospitality, knowledge of the wine and of the land, but it was their authentic excitement and joy for the wines that told us right away: this place is different. In the land of top notch wine, it's hard to stand out. That's why I was surprised by the emotions I felt after the first sip. It wasn't just my taste buds, but my soul that was happy. The love and care that went into making the wine was very evident, in a way that I haven't experienced.Even though we live in Eugene, my wife and I decided on the spot to sign up for the wine club. The wine is extraordinary. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly and unpretentious - everyone there is focused on making wine and making sure everyone has a good timeAlso, the wood fired pizzas they do for special events have the impossible task of matching the quality of the wine, and they do. Everything I've said about the wine goes for the pizza as well. Amazing. I didn't know pizza crust could taste that good. Looking forward to enjoying many more of those this summer and beyond.“

“Beautiful estate with great wine. They do tasting by appointment, glasses and food. As walkins on a Saturday we were able to purchase wine and food and enjoy them in the Oak Grove at picnic tables. Tried 3 different wines and they were all wonderful.“

“My book club meets here. They have solid wines, many of which are very affordable for the high quality. The tasting room here is good for winter, and has a lot of space. If it's sunny though and I want to drink Eola I will head to their legacy location instead!“
