“The food here felt healthier than other Chinese places I've been to in the past. The vegetables were fresh and the food wasn't overloaded with food coloring. That being said, my Kung Pao tofu could have used more flavor. The vegetable fried rice was pretty good. As per the other reviews, the fried shrimp is amazing! The outside of the building is interesting to look at. I like it. Inside, it's well lit but the booths seem like they could use replacing or refurbishing. The lotto rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms which isn't as common as it should be.The service was awesome. I had two servers who were extremely attentive. My drink was never empty and the food came out quickly.I'm not sure I'll be enthusiastic to go back, but the food gets the job done if you're hungry. It was also reasonably priced.Vegetarian options: There are classic Chinese dishes made vegetarian, including vegetarian hot pot! (I did not confirm meat-veggie cross contamination but the menu says they accommodate vegans so I'd expect that they don't cross contaminate).“

“Great preparation of ingredients, generous portions and very prompt, professional employees. (no offense intended to Lee's, but after discovering Foon Hing Yuen, I have found my go-to location for Chinese cuisine) Lunch specials have especially reasonable pricing. Now I know why it's so well loved from some of the oldest locals in and around LC!“
