Idk how this place doesn’t have 5 stars. The coffee is AMAZING and the crepes are to DIE for. I’m taking everyone to this place. Also they have gluten free options, like more than 50% of menu can be

I was next door getting glasses and wanted a cup of coffee when I finished so I stopped in. Ordered a large black coffee and all I can say is this is one of the best cups of coffee I've had, ever. It is a rich, strong coffee and not overly acidic. I didn't really pay attention but just looked at their website and saw there are lots of options, including food. The also have Turkish coffee. I'll be heading back soon!

Dirty so didn't eat there. Poor selection for beverages also.

Very disappointed that service was so slow. Drink got cold before food came. Crepe wasn't heated enough...cheese not melted, scant scrambled eggs. Won't be back.

Nice place to get a quick bite to eat/drink. They do some breakfast lunch and dinner items but are mostly a bar. Not the best coffee ever but it will do the trick. They sometimes have live music in the evenings!

Great tea selection, the crepes are fantastic, and there's plenty of room to spread out and have a work meeting out of the office.

Guy waters down cold brew, and made me feel like a bother. Really bad internet service.

16 tons is a nice little cafe on the south side of Eugene. They sell coffee drink, have a food selection, as well as serve beer or cider. Sometimes they have live music. Outdoor seating is available. Staff is friendly and food s tasty. I enjoy the crepes they offer.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome

on saturday night, my girlfriend and i went to 16tons to get some food and drinks and study. we got there around 730 (they close at 9), and the employees informed us that the kitchen was closed, which was fine. we ordered two drinks and sat down. five minutes later, we were informed that they were out of a key ingredient for our drinks, but kindly gave us a refund and a discount on the new drinks we ordered in place. we got our subpar iced tea and got to studying, when 10 minutes later they came back over and told us that they had decided to close at 8:00 instead (a whole hour earlier than they are usually open), and it was already 7:53. i understand that they were slow and we were the only two customers there, but deciding to kick us out an hour early was simply unprofessional and rude. it would have been one thing if we had been informed when we came in, but they decided to let us know less than 10 minutes beforehand, when we already had our drinks and were settled into our studying. will not be returning.

Just to counteract a few of the recent reviews bemoaning 16 Tons closing up shop a little early on occasion... (please understand that these are friends of ours who are hanging on during these turbulent times)...16 Tons has become a cultural hub, in many ways like Tsunami Books just down Willamette Street, in South Eugene. For several years, music lovers have gathered on the patio of a summer evening to enjoy smaller musical ensembles (incl. Still Thinking, Satori Bob, The Rubious Dubes, Buffalo Romeo - and Lea Jones).Great beer selection (and wine/ciders), fine sandwiches, salads, crepes! forsooth, and plenty of space for folks to park with laptops, friends, dogs (outside)...

I had the greatest melty, fresh, savory crepe with brie cheese, onion confit & fresh tomato, which came with a cuppa velvety tomato soup! My beverage was a decaf americano which was so tasty, that I paid a dollar for a refill. 2 of my dining partners ordered avocado toast & others in our large meetup group said their Breakfast choices were phenomenal.
Loved this place and the tea selection!
