No complaints. All 6 in our party got different meals and everything was perfect. Service was friendly, and the welcoming atmosphere was immaculate. We will definitely be coming back.

I would have taken a picture of the build your own omelette and extra crispy hash browns. Alas I was too busy wolfing it down and I don't think an empty plate would look to inviting.Let's just say I left a 15$ tip just for dining alone. I don't tip like that often, more like hardly ever but it's rare when everything is so awesome. Every star was dually earned.

Good food, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. However, we were served breakfast in parts. By the time I got my breakfast, my kids and friends were done eating.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu.

We get there, the people around us, who got there after us, were served and left before our food was served.Corned beef was canned, not fresh. Poached eggs were overdone. The worst part was the bite that was taken from my wife's English muffin. She never even touched it. We didn't complain because we're already dealing with enough and decided to just let it go. We're not going back. If you want good breakfast in Eugene, go anywhere else.

This place was just okay. We chose it based on the rave reviews and were underwhelmed. We ordered benedict, waffle, brail's omelet, French toast. The waffle (largely because the +$2 maple syrup) and side bacon were tasty,; the rest was meh. I was disappointed to find that they were out of buckwheat pancakes.I saw good reviews of the coffee but the best I wan say about it is that it's better than the usual diner coffee. The house tea was very good, but it took some effort to talk the waiter into bringing me milk for it instead of shelf stable creamer cups. The service was energetic and responsive, but both servers we interacted with gave the impression of really hating being there. It was disconcerting to watch our waiter go from smiling to our faces to throwing his head back with an eye-rolling sigh as he walked away.Including top, we spent about $80 for three adults and a child. I would have been happy to pay that for the amazing, delicious food and wonderful service I expected from reviews here. But I found it expensive for what we got--food about on par with your average Black Bear diner.A note--they didn't initially bring a kids menu for my 11 year old child and seemed ready to charge me adult prices for him (about 2x kids) until I asked about it.Kid-friendliness: We had to ask for a kids menu and overcome mild reluctance from the server to get it.The atmosphere was very kid-friendly. Ours is 11, but I saw many babies and toddlers having a good time.

They were really busy the eggs and hashbrowns were half cooked. The bacon and toast were fabulous. Staff are all very nice and helpful.

First time there - Spanish omelet and corned beef hash & eggs over easy. Classic American Diner food prepared very well. Friendly and attentive service. Coffee was good, and they go through tea so quickly all day that they brew it by the pot and serve a good strong cup. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for the classic diner food experienced done right.
