Ive seen the sign for years "introduce your friends to the best Mexican food in town" and while I would love to support this I can't. I can, however, say its a Eugene classic with a wicked green sauce worth drowning a cheap bean and cheese burrito. They make a large wet burrito for a reasonable price that'll fill you up and then some. Its casual, dependable, open early and pretty late (by non-college student standards) and always a friendly staff. Not sure if they've changed it now but the tables outside are guaranteed to get your plate stuck to them so fair warning. The paint seems to be made of a never-dry concoction to allow for years of slight tackiness. Honestly, still a great place to sit on a summer evening and enjoy some good food.

Just simple, delicious food. And the folks there were so kind! What else is there to say?

Was super excited to try this place out, but was extremely disappointed when we ordered and were served taquitos with a hair in them. We sent them back to the woman working the register and she insisted they remake them for us. We asked to just get a refund and we're only refunded the taquitos, but had completely lost our appetites at that point. The cook in the back had a full beard with no beard net. Who knows if the rest of our food had hair in it as well.

The staff is really nice, restaurant is clean and the food seems fresh. These are all great things but the food lacks flavor. I got a shrimp burrito and a side of beans. The burrito was dry, very little sauce of any kind and could barely taste the shrimp at all. Adding some red pepper or chipotle aioli would really give this burrito life! The tomatillo salsa that was on the table helped a little but it really wasn't the right compliment to the shrimp for me. I have used this to juice up a steak burrito at another location and it helped. Overall, the experience was fine and I may go back again to try something else (maybe a wet burrito next time ;-) The nice staff and decent ingredients certainly make it worth another shot.

Stopped in for a quick meal, decided on the Amigo burrito, asada w/ jalapenos. Perfect size, nice warm tortilla.Great burrito, great salsa!

We have a construction company, and recently have had jobs near this location. One of the women who works here during the week has a serious attitude problem and has been VERY rude to us several times. Do you like money? She also gets the orders wrong.

Asked for three different types of breakfast burritos and were told they didn’t have the ingredients to make them. They’re rather ill-prepared. Especially on a game day. And the burritos were mediocre for the price I paid. Sadly Safeway makes a better burrito in their deli. I only gave them 2 stars because they were kind of quick but very friendly.

Favorite restaurant in town, always remarkable friendly service and great portions for the price, while tasting fresh and sustaining. So fast too even with my custom orders

I love Burrito Amigos! The staff is always so nice and friendly and they make amazing food! I always get a vegan burrito and they always make sure to not add cheese or sour cream so I really appreciate them always getting my order correct!

Staying in the area in a local Air B&B. The wife and I wanted just a light lunch to hold us over until dinner with friends. I saw Burrito Amigo the day before so I thought I'd check it out. Burrito Amigo is a small casual Mexican food joint. Locals have told me they are known for their breakfast burritos, but as previously stated we needed something a little lighter. Since it was Taco Tuesday I decided on the two crispy beef tacos for five bucks deal and added two soft fish tacos as well. We enjoyed both tacos. The hard shell tacos were crispy, but not greasy, full of shredded beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese& onion. The fish tacos were good as well, but the cabbage slightly overwhelmed the fish and the sauce was a little light as well. Being from So. Cal. I can honestly say their tacos could hold their own and I am honestly surprised at that. Hope to check out one of their burritos before we return home.

Pretty sure they buy herdez salsa from the can and put water in it. Pass on the food here. I wish it was better. I’ve tried lots of items on the menu and I’m pretty sure extra lettuce is the secret ingredient. Fantastic service though.

Good, reliable, reasonably priced food. My son pointed out that two bean burritos cost less than one burger at lots of local places. Good choice for lunch.

The food is good, but the customer service is top notch! I believe her name is Litzi ? All I can say is WOW! What a star! Great personality, very welcoming and friendly. She treated each person as an individual and with such friendliness and senserity. What an example for the way we should all treat each other ❤️ It was truly a pleasure to meet you Litzi ?
