Great atmosphere, food & service! Came here for a holiday party & everything was so perfect & the staff was easy to work with!

I went back and forth on 3 or 4 stars here. I think the vibe and staff saved it from 3, but you really need to know it all to know why. We booked the Den (semi-private side room with fireplace, has sliding doors you can close) for our company dinner. We were told we couldn't do a reservation on a Friday night after 5 pm due to the fact that they have live music Friday nights and get quite busy. Not a big deal, we were fine eating before the crowds. However, they didn't seem very busy through the evening we were there. I hope that was just an anomaly, for their sake. The musician they had that night was good!Ambiance - check! Love the soft lighting, comfortable seating, beautiful table settings and overall decor of this place. Servers - very nice and helpful but seemed a bit slow considering their level of business at the time, as well as a bit lacking. For example, we had extra, unused wine glasses on our table that I ended up removing and putting on a side table myself to make more room. Also, at the end of the meal, a couple of us had extra pieces of flatbread that we would have liked containers for but we were never offered any and it had been so long between sightings of our servers, that we left them behind. Food - great presentation, but mild and lacking flavor. I did enjoy the house-made potato chips, but the onion dip was a small serving and wasn't as flavorful as expected. Same with the baked jalapeno artichoke dip, which was room temp and I felt should have been served warm. It was a bit bland. Additionally, the serving utensils for the appetizers seemed like odd choices considering (i.e. a tiny, tiny "fork" for the artichoke dip) and were hard to utilize with a larger group.Quite a few people in our group ordered the salmon and when received, one person's serving was clearly very uncooked compared to the rest of the tables'. They couldn't finish their plate and brought it up with the staff, who were very accommodating and apologetic. They did end up taking that dish off the final bill, so that was very nice. My Sicilian flatbread was good, if a bit charred on the bottom. Wine/beverages - good! I had the muscat and loved it! I meant to buy a bottle but forgot by the end of the evening. I heard good reviews on the pinot gris as well.

Great ambience, service, food, and wine pairing. Definitely recommend for a glass of wine and appetizers or relax over dinner listening to local musicians

EWL has a comfortable small room off its main area which was perfect for our dinner for 12, mostly adults but a few children, too. It exists to show off the wines of one of Eugene's great small wineries and provide a limited but very complementary menu as well. All the food offerings were excellent and very well received. Service was cordial accurate and polite but slow on a week night evening. The wine offerings were delicious and well received and priced well. On an evening when you have time and want a simple meal well prepared, EWL is a great choice, especially if you would like to try the wines of an excellent local winery.

If you only offer two salads, at least serve fresh lettuce/greens. For $14.00, one would hope for a really nice, full dish not 3/4 cup of lettuce with 2 slices of cucumber & a few olives. If you need a gluten-free options, it’s not the place for you.

We went here for a work team building event and they were wonderful. The service was wonderful and friendly. They even let us stay past our reservation and visit. I cannot say enough about the service. Also the wine selection is wonderful and the Caesar salad was scrumptious. I will be going here again!

A very comfortable place to try different wine varieties and some different food. I really enjoyed sitting in a relaxing place after work and decompressing after a hectic few days. Everyone working was very nice too.

Very nice place with a good selection of wine. Unfortunately we seem to have gone there on the wrong day and experienced terrible service. We had a server who just wanted to talk with the people at the table next to us. I had to go up to the bar and order more wine myself because the server was unable or unwilling to come to our table, there was no patience when my wife wanted to add to the order, and just a lack of service in general. It wasn't busy, so I can't really say what happened. We will be back, we liked the place that much, but not before talking with the manager to discuss our experience that day.

This is a perfect setting to meet up with the girls for a couple glasses of wine and flatbread pizza. The wine is delightful and the staff is always accommodating.

Went to dinner and pairing April 27th it was amazing, the food was amazing and the wines that were paired with was top notch. The owners were engaging and wonderful. The wine maker explained everything perfectly and he was so knowledgeable and also funny. It was my birthday and i can say it was probably one of my best birthdays ever. The atmosphere is spot on. I highly recommend going there and enjoy the experience., thank you for a perfect night

The wine flight was superb. Staff was very friendly and had excellent selection and information about the selection of wines. The charcuterie board was well laid out and every item was paid perfectly with the wine. Highly recommend coming here

Great place to relax - focaccia flat breads/ pizzas are yummy! Will definitely come back here. Reservations are a must if you want to try the higher end wines. That said, this seems stupid if people are willing to pay for it.
