Love Elk Horn! Hours are a bit annoying and hard to keep up with, but one of the best menus for a brewery around. Speaking of brews, great selection of local ipas on tap. Order up front, plenty of seats to snag a table for date night or catching up with a group of friends. Chicken sandwich is my fave with fried okra... yes okra (i'm from the south), they're like fried pickles. Burgers are pretty good too, but better check it out for yourself!

The beer was good and the place was clean. That's about all it's got going for it. If you order a burger and fries, be prepared to wait an hour for them to bring you cold food. Save some money and just get the Burger from the McDonald's across the street. It's cheaper, taste better, cost less and is served warm. Lookin at the other reviews, it seems like a trend ( long wait and cold food)

I’m a blue cheese burger kind of gal, and this was by far the BEST blue cheese burger I’ve ever had. My husband had the chicken sandwich, the chicken was huge!! Lightly breaded, not overcooked. And it’s clear they keep a clean fryer. He said it was dank. Definitely my new favorite spot to stop while in Eugene!!

Great atmosphere…. I have loved food from here before but tonight my fiancé found a large piece of plastic on his chicken sandwich. We both felt sick when we got home.

Waited almost an hour in an empty restaurant because there was catering. Our appetizer showed up after our main dish. Wasn’t offered a refund or anything. Just a lame apology.

I normally don't post negative experiences, but this was ridiculous. First, I am greeted by a very friendly employee in the parking lot who welcomes us very politely while he is on the phone.. problem is, he is stumbling around and I can smell alcohol from him from 10 feet away. I hear him say his break is over to the person on the phone and he goes in the back door. We go in to find our friends who are already seated on the upper level and had already ordered food. I saw there were about 4 tables in the entire restaurant with people seated. I prepare to order food, but I am told that they are behind 7 orders and their server tells me that they are pausing food orders for at least 30 minutes. Ok. Whatever, I'll wait. So then they bring food out to one of my friends that had ordered before I got there.. My friend asks if we can order food yet. The server says that they are closing the kitchen for the night and not taking any orders now. Then the server says "That's just how it goes in the restaurant world" snidely before walking away. So we are quietly complaining about the restaurant to eachother and where we should go now when the second server decides to approach and sarcastically say that if there is a problem, she can get her manager. I told her that I just won't come back. She replies that she was glad I wouldn't come back. I said ok, bye then. She then steps closer to my table and huffs up before saying that they are doing the best they can. I said ok I'm done talking to you, bye. She stands there and continued to try to engage me in conversation and I said again that I was done talking to her because she has been rude the whole time. She stands there and continues to try to engage me and I ignore her until she walks away. My friends are finishing their food as quickly as they can so we can leave and go somewhere else. A few minutes pass and the cook comes up hot and says that he has received multiple complaints about our table (must be from our servers since we were the only ones upstairs at that point) and that if we can't be civil, we should leave.. so my friend starts to reply that the waitress was the one being rude but the cook cuts her off and replies "I dont care this is our place". I informed him that I am happy to leave and I am surely the person being complained about. He slowed down and listened as I told him that our servers were incredibly rude and sarcastic with us. I told him that I understand that things happen and we aren't upset about the kitchen closing, but the way we were being treated. He nodded and said "I know who you are dealing with." Ok? So he knows theres a problem here. He mentions that if we return another day that he is working, he will set us up well. I told him that I will not be returning and they have lost my business, which is too bad because I like their food. So as we leave a few minutes later, the original server makes sure to yell in a condescending tone "have a nice night!" as if she was super proud of the situation. Nice.

The staff here is amazing. Make sure you check out the daily special before you order. We had poutine with chopped sirloin, cheese curds, and an outstanding gravy. The house Pilsner hit the spot. The restaurant is quite eclectic inside. Basically if I lived in Eugene, this would be my hang out spot for sure

Not many tables, other than for groups of 4. Was told they were out of both chicken and tri-tip when ordering food and this was on a Friday at 6pm. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beer on tap was pretty good. I’d give them another chance.

Wow, what a tasty burger. I got the Duck Dynasty Burger( the house burger) and it was delicious. Melted cheese, fresh veggies and lots of love put into that burger. That head chef REMY even came out briefly and made sure that everything was up to standard. He made us feel welcome and full of yummy food. 10/10 would recommend. Also, Dad Bod (a hazy IPA) was a delicious compliment to my hardy burger and fries.

Waited an hour and a half for a single burger. They forgot ketchup 3 times. Alcohol was shipped in so atleast they couldn't mess that up.

We decided to give this local business another chance. Last time we were in we waited for our food for an hour and five minutes. The catfish was good and the employees were apologetic. This last Saturday night we decided to try again because we love catfish and there aren't many places in Eugene that serve it. We got there around 7pm. There was one other person in line ahead of us and the restaurant didn't seem extremely business for a Saturday game-day. We ordered our catfish and waited...and waited. We asked about it 40 minutes later and we were told that our ticket was next. We waited another 10 minutes and I went up to the window to find out if our food was ready. I was told "they are just plating it". After another 10 minutes I asked another employee and she said " we are just waiting on the catfish" So clearly they were not "plating it". At that point we had waited one hour for our food. The employee said they could refund our money. I asked them to do that and she immediately rolled her eyes. When we asked to talk to the manager, we recognized her as the employee standing in front of the register talking to customers (her friends) while the line behind us grew. She came over and offered to box our food up to go but we said we just wanted our money back. I suggested that the employees let customers know if there is going to be an hour and fifteen minute wait for food. Another man there was clearly just as frustrated as we were.Needless to say, as much as we liked the catfish, we will not be back and we will not be able to recommend this locally owned restaurant to others. Very disappointing.

The lager is absolutely delicious. The young lady at the register is really helpful and efficient. Delicious collard greens and wings too. A+

Tasty food from a creative menu. Beer is fine. Parking easy. Nice patio and interior. Interior was virtually empty on a Sunday evening, so hard to judge atmosphere. Friendly staff, food a bit slow to come out but not bad. A little low-brow to get paper towels for napkins, and had to go inside to ask for untenable, not a biggie but not excellent either.
