Boy am I glad I happened by this gem. The restaurant is tucked behind a well known chain restaurant but it stands head and shoulders above that chain with the quality of food they serve. My friends couldnt stop raving about the southwestern prime sandwich and the prime beef dip. And thier sweet potato fries are some of the best Ive had. I had the asian chicken salad and it was great. A nice bed of mixed greens, not just iceberg or romaine. The chicken was moist and made for a very enjoyable salad. They also serve breakfast all day here. I have not had a chance to try breakfast but I did look at the menu. The menu had lots of tempting items so I will be back to give it a try. Another feather in the forresters cap is minors are allowed to eat there as well. The menu will have something for everyone that is sure to put a smile on thier faces. All in all I would definately pass by that chain restaurant for The Forrester behind it. Definately worth a visit, and dont be surprised if it becomesio your new favorite restaurant.

I wanted lunch and Forrester's was in the neighborhood. I'm so glad I tried it. Had the Dungeness BLT salad and it was wonderful. Plenty of crab and bacon and an interesting variety of greens took it into the above average category. Plan to return with friends.

Great place for food, drinks and appetizers. Call ahead for large groups. They are always willing to accommodate. It's a little loud but the food is always good.

It's a nice place, but maybe sitting right next to the other diners in the middle is not the best idea. Food was very good.

We decided this is our favorite restaurant. Their appetizers are awesome. My wife LOVES their stuffed mushrooms. I really like their sandwiches and their meatloaf with mashed potatoes is SO GOOD. Awesome breakfasts. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly good Alfredo. Everything else I’ve had here is good too. But you dont usually expect decent pasta from this type of place.

Our g-son took us to a late breakfast here yesterday. Our waiter was the brother of one of the owners and he was very attentive. The food was very good and the portions were large enough that we took half of them home for lunch. We will be coming back.Parking: Handicap parking is available and close to the door.

First time at Forresters. Love the fact that they have all-day breakfast, but all we wanted were some tasty apps and beers to wash down a bit of a hangover. The onion rings arrived somewhat warm but not hot. The potato skins arrived at the same temperature but really lacked flavor.Beer selection could be better as well. When we come back and try the breakfast, I'll update my review. The server was attentive and quick.Update: Came back for breakfast and had a much better food experience. We ordered the Haystack Skillet, which was delicious. The Farmlands Omelet is basically the Haystack Skillet in an Omelet. It was very, very good. Their gravy is a wee bit flour heavy, but it had good flavor. The Biscuit was fluffy and great under some gravy.Wasn't fond of the Bloody Mary, but it did the trick to send me home with a full belly for a lovely nap.Service was great as well. They earned at least one extra star on the food this go around.I'll definitely come back for breakfast. Great thing that they serve it all day!

Good food, very pleasant, attentive service, but definitely a little pricey. We had 2 salads and 2 ice teas. It was $50 with tip for lunch.
