On a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco, my friend and I decided to stop here for lunch. It was an amazing decision. The food was amazing and well priced and the services were just as incredible and kind! I recommend this to everyone! The establishment was clean and also cute, great lunch location.

We love going to Izumi. Flavors, temperatures, and presentation - all very good and consistent. There are lots of options (we try a new roll every time we go), and everyone can find items they really enjoy. It is a smaller sushi venue. Maybe we have been lucky choosing when to go, but we have never waited more than 5 min to be seated.

I ordered the choose 3 from Izumi and they came through 100%. I got the Philly roll, Vegas roll and chicken yakisoba. The food was on point I got miso soup two salads and rice of course they gave me soy sauce ginger and wasabi. Everything was on point. Thank you Izumi I will always come back.

Buddy Gerry wanted lunch. I was looking for a great place, and amongst the stuff in my "tickler" file was Izumi. I've been there with beloved bride several times, and by myself when I needed Nabeyaki Udon or Tempura. Sounded just like the ticket. We showed up early, like 11:30 and were promptly seated, watered and menu-ed. They have a lunch section on the menu, and I will only concentrate on the combination trays. I had a 2 item combination of tempura shrimp / vegetable, and the udon. The tempura was two pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of tempura (pumpkin and yam). The soup was a white miso with small cubes of tofu and a couple small pieces of seaweed. The salad was an iceberg lettuce with shredded red cabbage, sliced cherry tomatoes and a somewhat non-descript dressing. The udon, however, was a find in my opinion. Noodles with a chew, fish cake slice and assorted vegetables. The broth was very hot and very flavorful. Other than soup stains on my shirt, I have to plug the udon in my lunch. After lunch a walk was required and a great time was had by all. By all means, do go.

After a long day of travel, we came for dinner. The restaurant was very busy and Charlotte went above and beyond to assist us in getting food and drink quickly. She was able to bring my dinner in stages because she could see how Hangry I was after nine hours of driving.. I’d come back here again just to have her wait on us.

This used to be our favorite restaurant, but slowly I've noticed the quality of our visits slowly going down. We are regulars and last night was our worst experience yet.It took about 20-25 minutes before anyone stopped by to greet us and take our orders. We didn't recognize our server so we figured she was new. Since we had waited she offered to get us a complimentary salad or miso which was a good start, she took our menus and we had to grab her before she walked off to put in our drink orders as well.We started noticing that the people around us who showed up 30 minutes after us were getting their food after about 15 minutes of sitting down, including the appetizer we ordered and still hadn't received. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, which is not unusual here, but we never got our appetizer. The server never came back to check on us so we had to grab the guy walking around filling waters to get our appetizer. He comes back promptly with it and not 5 minutes later our server comes by with a second appetizer, so we got 2 for 1. Once again the server never came back to check on us so we had to grab other people to grab us extra ginger, etc. Also, I had finished my beer halfway through our meal and would've gotten another one, but she never did check in.We finished our food and waited another 20-30 minutes to even receive our check. Once again, we had to grab her while she was walking around to get it. We still had food on our plates and figured she would assume we needed a box, but she didn't so once she brought the check back we asked for a box as well.We noticed on the check that 1. we had never received one of the rolls we ordered, and 2. they charge extra for whiskey neat. We dont think we should be charged for no ice and every time we bring it up when we come in the restaurant they gladly change it. This time, the bartender came over and explained that they charge extra for no ice because they pour heavy. We were not happy with that, because were already buying expensive whiskey and did not ask for a heavy pour. She continued to argue and had a really crappy attitude with us, but said she would change the charge anyway. So keep in mind there will be an extra charge whenever you order neat.Lastly, once the check was fixed and we put the card down, it took another 20-30 minutes for her to come back and pick it up. At that point we were done and just wanted to go home. A quick 2 person dinner ended up taking several hours.Everything in the women's bathroom is broken (toilet paper dispenser, paper towel dispenser, etc). They've switched to cheaper lollipops rather than dum dum's and don't refill them.Overall: Our server was nice but extremely oblivious to her tables needs, and they lost a lot of money on our table due to mistakes made throughout the night (they lost $20 on the roll we never received, 2 appetizers due to the slow service, an extra appetizer because they didn't communicate once we received the first, and about $20 on alcohol because they never asked if we wanted refills).
