I came here because Google said you would be open. And you're closed. If you can't be bothered to update your hours, then I can't be bothered to buy anything from you. You've lost a customer.I gave you one more chance, and took a lunch break to come out but again you are closed. I can't come after work because you're closed. The shop wasn't open, didn't get to shop even though it was supposed to be open, was there during regular business hours.

Great selection of teas, very cool ambiance and in one of my favorite parts of Eugene. Very knowledgeable regarding the teas that are there too! All of the food carts nearby and the little market are an additional bonus.

Great looking place. Lots of tables, couches and areas to hang out our get work done. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. There's a crazy selection of teas and they were able to help describe each one and recommend something. They also serve Boba Tea but we only got hot tea. I wish my town had a place like this.

By far the best tea in town. It’s pricey but it’s the only place to buy quality tea. When the shop is open too, it’s fun to talk with strangers and sit closely by the tea bar. I’m really glad JTea is a part of the community here in Eugene

Walked in and the proprietor was having a very snobby, judgmental conversation about other tea shops. Very off-putting.Edit: This was indeed two years ago.
I have been going to JTea for many years and have always had a great experience. Josh really got to know what we like and has made some excellent recommendations. I still make time to stop in and purchase some tea even though we've moved to the Seattle area.

Terrible place, they only have green tea from Formosa. The owner tried to explain to me how good pesticides are in tea. A place I would avoid.

We showed up during normal business hours to an abandoned shop with a sign in the window that said "call to order". We called the number and it went straight to voicemail. We left messages (3 of us called separately), and no calls were returned. This was several weeks ago. The shop has ample room for outdoor seating, but they're doing "to go" orders only, with no seating set up. Even if they had been open to serve us, we would have been disappointed, being forced to order "to go" and drink our tea on the sidewalk as opposed to the large, empty outdoor area in front of this building.

Happy to see a new business in the neighborhood, so I checked it out, and ordered a jasmine milk bubble tea. I have enough sense to know good quality tea when I taste it, and this was good! But I was definitely disappointed in the bubble part, especially given the price of $6! No delicious, chewy boba...instead an enthusiastic amount of tiny, soft, unsweetened "bubbles" that were a bit like tea with overcooked couscous in it. Maybe they just boiled some tapioca pearls? Yes, I understand tapioca pearls and boba are all made of the same thing really, but size and texture matter. Probably not coming back, sorry J-Tea.
