The sweetest family. The best Japanese food in town. They take such care in how they prepare their food and where they source the ingredients from. I’ve come to eat here since they opened up ;) they have loyal customers for a reason!

My fiancé told me about this Japanese food truck in Eugene he's been wanting to try out and I'm so so happy we did! Masa Yatai is located in a community of other food trucks. It's such a cute spot with a live band, perfect for a date and/or friends and family to hangout. There's a small parking lot as well as street parking. We ordered a few of their dishes to try, but my favorite was the Garlic Chicken. Can I just say, OMG. It has got to be the absolute best karage chicken I have ever had. Coming from Southern California, Japanese food is in abundance and so I was so so surprised at how good this was. I wish we had gone back for dinner again but this now gives me an excuse to come back to Eugene!!

Just wow. I wasn't expecting such perfectly cooked salmon and crispy, flavorful chicken. Presentation was also beautiful but I was so impatient to start eating, I didn't even get a chance to take a photo. Will definitely be back!
This food cart is so charming and tasty.Ordered curry with egg & fried chicken. I ate it all before I could remember to take a photo, so easy 5* from me.Food portions and prices were just right for me. $10 for the curry plate +$3 for extras I think, and it was a FULL plate of food.I just wish they had some unagi (eel) to go with some rice. Unagi onigiri would be delicious, but I don't know how to cook eel.Vegetarian options: Meat is often optional. I had to pay extra for chicken.

Fresh, delicious... my absolute favorite food cart in town. I'm never disappointed here and the service is always amazing. I always seem to order the Salmon Teriyaki but I've tried the various curry dishes as well and they are always incredible. I find myself back here at least once a month!

Who wouldn't want broiled fish? Friendly Garden would not be the same without this cart.If you're really lucky, they'll have salmon collars. If you happen to stop by and this is the special, you are obliged to get it. Everything else is pretty great as well.

It was my first time trying this place and man I wish I would have tried it sooner, the chicken and rice was cooked perfectly. The work staff was friendly and very respectful. This place is in a cool little grouping of different food carts on friendly street. It has covered and some days/nights they have live music.

Chicken and poke were amazing! Poke tasted fresh and crisp, and the chicken was so juicy. Nice atmosphere with other food trucks around as well.
The garlic chicken is so good it's insane. The portions are generous and the chicken pieces are big.
