I’ve been to this new location a few times now. They’ve got a good atmosphere. The staff has been very friendly every time. Some very good shows too! A good view of the stage across the entire bar.My only complaint is that the last time I was there the price of my drinks changed without explanation. It was when a new bartender took over. It wasn’t happy hour, I asked. My first few wells were 6.50, +$2 tip,but then it suddenly was 7.50,+ $2tip . Now I know that’s not a lot, but the fact that they think they can play their customers like that it rather slimy, in my opinion. So I decided cut my drinking short, and switched to water out of principle. Stayed and enjoyed a spectacular $20 show for the next two hours with my plastic water cup lol. Very not cool guys. Very not cool.

Clean, amazing service, great staff, and people here. I didn't get any food, so I can't rate that.I'm getting older, but I still want to enjoy music and late night fun. They provided me with some earplugs to enjoy the bands on stage, and this was great. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's fun to hang out, no matter who or what is playing, whether it be country or metal.This is a great spot to be in Eugene! I feel comfortable here on any night. Good vibes.

This place is absolutely amazing! They always put on Karaoke Tuesday nights and it is well worth your time! The staff is super laid back AND the beer is cheaaaap!Have been coming here since I moved here in August and I will always be there on Tuesday nights! See you there!

Was walking downtown when I swore I heard a metal band and I lstopped and realized it was a live metal concert!!! Best night ever!!! Been here in eugene Oregon for 3 years [now 4] and just happened to stumble across my home best part is they have a pool table and I love pool if you see me there I'm the one with the red pool stick come up and say hello ? ?
If you're looking for great live music of every genre you can imagine, this is the place to be in Eugene. The entertainment is top notch, the crew working there -from the bartenders to the bouncers or even the sound guy - all great people and are very friendly and helpful.They've also got open mics, burlesque shows, karaoke ?My one complaint is that with the incredible variety of artists that come through their venue, I feel like they could do better on social media describing the types of music coming through each night. That's an extremely minor nitpick for an otherwise excellent bar.It's really always so cool seeing all the talent coming through Eugene that John Henry's is able to host and I'm grateful to have them in our big little town.

I enjoy a good show and this is an excellent place for that. Saw Intranced and Blood Star, good sound, good show. I dig this local bar atmosphere, I felt welcome and at home. Friendly personnel working. Recommended.

Service was hectic but mostly because we went during a show, can't speak on food, however it's a very cozy venue. We had a good time tonight but it wasn't overly crowded. If it were more crowded I could see that being uncomfortable. I'd give John Henry's, where and how it is currently, 5/10 all and all.

Finally went here to check out a band. I love a small venue. We got to play some free pool before they started with the bass player. They also have a few pinball machines. I'll be back to see some live music.
