Sysco food quality with dining out price. Like putting or stirring a bunch of canned and pre-prepared ingredients together. The avocado had turned brown. The mango did not taste like mango. The noodle did not taste pleasant and the chicken on top was dry and bland. Honestly I don’t know how it could be worse.

Very strange atmosphere. No one, literally no one was there. Food was meh. Fish and chips were just one tiny step above frozen microwaved. Coconut curry didn’t have any flavor. Staff was a bit weird. The dishwasher tried to strike up a conversation with us. Over priced. Weird weird little place. Will never return.

The service was good but the food was some of the worst we've ever had. Our food (2 different dishes) were drenched in sauces. Terrible, it looked and tasted like slop.

9/28/23 - We have dinned at Johnny Oceans since they have opened in Eugene, OR. Tonight was our last time. Food was very good, service was very good, atmosphere was nice and clean.
Our disappointment came with our bill. Johnny Ocean's is now adding ex-stream up charges to there main entrees. When you order your special or a burger, they ask what protein or meat choice you want. You assume that this is included with the item you are ordering. But beware this is not so. I ordered a rice noodle stir fry with vegetables. I was asked what meat I wanted. I choose Steak.
When I received my bill it was suppose to be a special for $12.95. The added steak was an up charge of $12.00 making my dinner special $24.95. vs $12.95. We asked the waittress why the steak was not included etc., she said unless we ask specifically what the up charges are, she can't tell us. So it was in my eye's "Deceiful" and I will not return. I was shocked as to her reply and the deceiful way of not informing me up such a high up charge just for a steak without telling me. Also my wife had a garden burger for $14.95 with up charge of 2.90 because it was a garden burger patty. Plus some other charge of $1.00 for ranch dressing condiment. This information should be told to their customers up front. Not when you receive the bill thinking it will be much less and you were not told about the up charges. Sad to say we will not return to this business again. We also knew the owner. Feeling very deceived!!!
