Stopped here after my Amtrak train dropped me off at the station. This place is right next to the station, and busy. Vegan/Vegetarian foods with comfortable seating and artwork on the walls that are for sale. Most definitely a college town restaurant and serves both families and students as well as out of town folks with a smile and great personality.Vegetarian options: If you want to add real butter just ask and the vegan items can have cheese added on request.Kid-friendliness: Lots of tasty options the kids will want to eat!

Stopped by on our way through town, and we were hoping for a great vegetarian meal based on the reviews and how long this place has been around, but we were disappointed in the lack of service we received from the moment we were sat down.We were ignored for quite a while, not given menus to start, and when we finally were, they left us alone again for quite a while, and then didnt bring out the hot water we asked for when they did come to take our order. When the food did come out, it was quite salty - and that seemed to be the overpowering flavor of the food. We asked for a refill of hot water multiple times for our tea, and we were ignored by the wait staff. Had to ask for a replacement napkin multiple times before they finally managed to bring one. They never stopped by to ask if we needed anything, how the food was, or if things were alright...and it was mid-day/mid-week, not exactly the busiest time...Just an overall disappointing experience and I wouldn't recommend this spot.

So it was my first time visiting Morning Glory today. We came 2 hours before closing. If you care about SERVICE DONT COME HERE. The server started off nice but then it ended after that. There were 3 servers for the max of maybe 9 tables there, so it’s not like they were overwhelmingly busy. The server brought us our food and drinks just fine. But then asked us if we needed hot sauce or jam and we said yes we need both of those. She never came back with them. And I think she forgot and felt embarrassed or something? Because she never came back. Not to check on us once. Just had empty cups of water, no refill, until we went up and asked for those things. Then she became passive aggressive and even rolled her eyes as we left. I don’t know what their problem was but I will happily never come here after that level of disrespect.

Got food poisoning from here. I suspect the Oj! Only drank a half a cup of that supposedly fresh squeeze oranges that tasted rotten. That probably could’ve done it. I don’t know. I know things can happen but I don’t expect to pay money to get sick when I go out to eat.

Best breakfast place in town, and great coffee! Be prepared for a wait though.Edit: it's been several years, and they're pretty much just coasting... I definitely don't think they're the best breakfast place in town anymore, but the food is good. Their seasonal menu has become monotonous, and doesn't live up to its name. It's always the same five or six things... it feels like the motivation that the place had years ago has just coasted into a coin-operated machine. Still good food though, and good service. I just preferred the more creative, seasonal approach that they used to have.

2 great options. 1. Come for the vibe, enjoy the food. 2. Come for the food, enjoy the vibe. Vegan, gluten free options.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the customer service is wonderful. Having a place where I can order the food I want to eat without judgment is hard to find. I hope more places like this open around the state. I appreciate the good ingredients and the care that is put into making your amazing menu. It may not be for everyone but it's nice to have a place for people who like eating the way I do. Thank you ?

We came in on a busy Sunday morning, the place was super packed but functional. After a short wait we were seated outside. The staff was super nice and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere is super cozy and happy, totally a great restaurant that embodies the Eugene vibes. The pastries look amazing and I will definitely be trying one next time. The tempeh tasted super good which was awesome because it was my first time trying it.Vegetarian options: Great tempehVegan sausage

Service was super-slow and I was given a half-rotten avocado as a side oder. Sorry, I didn't take a picture...

Omelet is good. Potatoes are good, herbaceous, but not crispy. GF and V options. Service was great, sat outside and still got frequent coffee refills. Inside has the cottage diner vibe. Outside has covered seating, and gives off that current weather vibe.

I keep punishing myself by going here for some reason (lots of good reviews and local clout may be why?). It's time to end my masochistic tendencies. Every time I go here we end up waiting over half an hour for a couple 'o eggs and potatoes. Everything is served cold and tastes like cardboard. Makes one wonder if they are aware of the advent of seasonings, spices, salt.
