I contacted Novo 9/21/20 and the messages said that they are permanently closing forever due to the cause of Corona Virus. Very sad of how this Virus has affected many communities businesses and health. hope they show up somewhere in the near future because they had great food and service

Enjoyed outside dining with friends and had the Fish and beef tacos. Was a nice treat and the service was helpful!

My boyfriend and I went to Novo for the first time last night, and we will most certainly be back! We were 10 minutes early to our reservation, and the hostess took us right away. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and informative about the menu. The candle and atmosphere of the restaurant made our dinner a classy experience, and the food and drinks were incredible! The portion sizes seem small, but they are very filling. The prices were extremely affordable for how delicious and aesthetically pleasing the food was. Thanks for a great night, can't wait to come back again.

LOVE Novo. Their food is amazing, the service is outstanding. Sat outside, socially distanced and got to enjoy one my FAVE restaurants.

The food is delicious. It's a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth the quality of the food. The servers are super nice and kept checking on us every now and then even when busy, which I appreciated. The food usually comes out within 15 mins and it takes only 2 mins to finish it all.

This is five stars when you can dine in, given its lively atmosphere. Brilliant cocktails (try all the margaritas) and crisp, salty chips, salsa and guacamole are enough for this eater, although there are also several tasty salads (watermelon/feta) and entrees (the vegetable tacos, the chicken tinga, which shows up in both enchiladas and the mon bowl). Plenty of fresh veg on every plate, so the experience feels both healthy and like celebration.

This is my favorite restaurant in Eugene. It's also the cleanest. The decor is warm and lovely. Staff is always kind and very helpful. The food is of high quality and taste is set apart from other restaurants. It's delicious. The margaritas are the best I've had in Eugene! I had a hard time finding a restaurant in Eugene that I really really loved until this place. Thankful we can sit in this restaurant and enjoy dinner tonight with family.

Novo is oue of our top Go To restaurants in Eugene. This is not a Mexican restaurant (thank goodness as there are so many of those). It is a true Latin restaurant. The service was great, the food superb, and the ambience, sophisticated. We've eaten at Novo several times and it's never failed to meet our expectations. Try the Yucca Frita which comes with 2 different dips! The Tacos Pescados are amazing. My personal favorite is the Argentine Skirt steak (it's so hard to find skirt steak in Eugene, so this is such a treat). They have a great wine list as well. Plan to go to Novo for special (really any) occasions.

While the food is 'pretty good', I didn't find it particularly wonderful, especially for the price. Don't expect side dishes, or chip with salsa here, unless you want to pay for it. Dinner for 3 with 3 cocktails (I had the, somewhat overstuffed chicken tamale, with a tiny bit of sauce - one large tamale, no sides). The wait was very long, even with reservations and the seats are all a very uncomfortable - all wooden chairs. Not good a bad back The only good thing was the servers. They were all very friendly and out waiter was very patient in explaining ever option. Walked out with a sore back, lower much experience than expected and a bill of $120 (not including tip). We won't be returning.

Amazing food. One of the best places to eat in eugene for sure. This place is great. You will need reservations. If you get lucky you can sit at the bar and watch the kitchen in action. It is super impressive. I would absolutely recommend this place with out any hesitation

One of, if not the, most reliably excellent restaurants in Eugene. The food is top notch, the wait staff attentive and knowledgeable, and the setting is classier than most. The Tacos Carnitas, stuffed peppers, and the Mole Crema!!! Ah! Such luxury.

Tried this place recently for Happy Hour and sat at the bar. Cute spot. Decent ambiance. Interesting menu. I highly recommend the Mon bowl. I had one with chicken and it was very tasty. Excellent blend of flavors for the pallet. Also tried the Salmon Ceviche which brings me to my two complaints. I ordered the Scallop Ceviche but was told it didn't pass QC so I ordered the Salmon. It was pretty good but in my opinion was missing a little punch. I requested a side of salsa verde which put that ceviche over the top! Where I was disappointed was that they didn't offer the same price on the ceviche as what I originally ordered. Not a huge deal as it was only a dollar more but the principle. Most restaurants would have done that. Shockingly I was charged $2 for a side of salsa that was quite frankly needed! Might go back but based on that I'm not sure.

The food was super good! I was really impressed with the ambiance and great customer service. Our waiter was hands down the best as he was patient with our group of newbies. The drinks were strong and well worth what we paid. We celebrated a birthday dinner here and I will certainly be back!
