If this is what you call Chicken Karaage, then you might like this place. I didn't.Can't speak to the ramen.

The eggs and broth were okay, otherwise, the ramen honestly tasted similar to dining hall food or something you could make at home. The ambience of the place and the customer service wasn't bad, though, I just definitely would not pay restaurant prices for this food

The boneless chicken fried in soy sauce and soft boiled egg was so amazing! Thank you!

Ramen is decent - chicken and pork katsu is really good. ? Service is always amazing. I would recommend Ojisan. (I got the chicken katsu this time)

If you enjoy food that is re heated from the Chefs store and Costco, then you'll enjoy the food. If you want authentic ramen, this is a hard pass. Nothing here is made from scratch. It was disappointing.

Thank goodness the food was good and the one employee redeemed himself a bit by bringing my food to me at Oakshire. But the wait time was unacceptable. I one order of gyozas. The online ordering system said it would be 15 mins. I checked on them at 15 mins, he said 10 more mins. Then 20 mins later, I checked again. Still not ready. Then he finally brought them to me at 55 mins for one gyoza order. Disappointed to say the least. It was supposed to be a quick stop for snack. Oh well.

Vegetarian ramen was ok but nothing special. I wish it had more depth of flavor. It did hit the spot in a cold day though.

I ate here at Oakshire. Ordering was easy (I ordered from my table) and my food came out fairly quickly and was fresh and warm. I got the miso ramen and an order of gyoza. Both were tasty. The ramen was solid--not the best I've ever had, but fresh and flavorful and the noodles were really good. I liked the soft boiled egg. The gyoza were also tasty. This was a great meal on a rainy and cold day.

I complained to the owner about my carry out food. It was tasteless. Clearly this establishment orders frozen food and re- heats it to make it their own. After I complained, he blocked my number so I couldn't reorder. Wow!!! I miss Brad, the original owner.

Tan Tan Ramen was good, but I thought it was better without the little additional cup of sauce that they gave me.

Great area, best ramen I've had in Eugene in 20 yrs., short line, excellent service, kids loved it!

Upon arrival I was happy to see that there is a quiet and relaxed seating area, the road close by in on a less-traveled street so only a few cars ever went by during my meal. The man inside was very friendly, professional and courteous during my time there.I got the Shoyu Ramen, and received my order within a short window of time while waiting with my friend who ordered the Miso ramen for himself. Our food was brought out to us when it was finished and contained spring onions, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and of course the braised pork belly. Each element of the ramen was really good, the pork belly was outstanding, and the broth had a nice flavor too it while not tasting overly salty like some Shoyu broths tend to.I felt full after finishing my bowl, which was another thing I liked about the portion size. The bowls are also fairly deep which I hadn't seen in the images that I scrolled through on their Google page, so I made sure to add one to my review for others. The ramen bowls are made of a recycled and compostable paper, including the lids for take-home options, and I had no trouble transporting my leftovers home.I would highly recommend checking out this little diamond in the rough and giving them a try yourself!
