I've been a customer of this great place for around a decade. Stopped in for the first time in months, ordered a blt, standard cheeseburger with fries, 3 cider's and one beer......... $60.00, i know prices have gone up but charging 8 dollars for a cider, 2 dollars for pepper jack cheese and 3 dollars for sweet potato fries is insane. Thanks for all the good time and good luck with those prices.

We love this spot! The food and prices are excellent. The service is always prompt and friendly. This is definitely a great place for a date night or even a family night out.

It's a bummer when the owner sinks his own business. This is obviously what's happening at the Paddock. Since losing their head kitchen guy the owner has been hacking away at the menu. The food is one of the main reasons I come to the paddock. It's not the TV's. It's the great staff and food. Lamont is fucking up!

So, the only thing that has kept me coming back since the remodel was the all day breakfast. Came in last week to find out breakfast is only served til 2 now. Bummer-but ok. Go in today and put my breakfast order in and specify hash browns per usual, only to be told that they no longer serve hash browns. That's when I realized that today was the day I wouldn't be coming back. It's been a good 30 year run but this was the absolute deal breaker for me.

So I absolutely love The Old Pad. We come often for late night normally and breakfast. I especially love the tacos on Tuesdays so imagine my disappointment when tonight we came in to discover not only no taco Tuesday but also no tacos at all. This is so sad. Please please bring back the tacos they are simple and delicious. We the South Eugene community need these tacos to satisfy our late night cravings!!!!!!!

Sausage gravy was AMAZING. The service was HORRIBLE. Otherwise, what a great location for watching the Ducks play!We would have ordered so much more food if we could get any service. The Biscuts and Gravy was fantastic.Went out on the patio, and there were TWO servers. Plan better and staff up for game days.

the food is some of the best bar food in town. i dream about the pesto fries. the staff are great. the guy who always has the vape around his neck can be a little mansplainy but overall pretty decent FOH crew.

I ordered a meatloaf sandwich, when asked what side I want I indicated a salad. They didn’t tell me that everything is ala carte and that would cost another $7. I ended up unknowingly having to pay $22 for a poor sandwich. In general, I’ve been the this place for over a decade and it’s been a staple since the prefontaine days. The current ownership and staffing approach make it a bad place to eat, drink, or enjoy a breakfast. The only thing they have going for them in 2023 is being open 2 hours before the other bars. I recommend waiting 2 hours.Edit: Owners response speaks for itself. It’s too bad that such a staple of south eugene was bought by this person.Dietary restrictions: Does a poor job of responding to dietary restrictions.

I don't know what's wrong with James T., this place has been solid and consistent for me the past few years I have known about it. Great food, great drinks, friendly staff, have never had a bad experience. I always sit in the front though, so I can't say much about what happens in the back and outside. Maybe the smokers and gamblers are just irritable for having to leave their stool to go to the bar for a drink.
