Poker machines were not nice to me but to everyone else! Drinks are very strong and almost tasted like it was made with rubbing alcohol.

Another failed business plan by this owner...never should have fired all the old staff and tried 'rebranding' again, now as clutch tavern. New bar staff is anything but personable and place is filthy in places.

Sign still says Pastimes, yet it is called Clutch Tavern. Bad name, what is the reference, clutch your purse or your wallet before you get ripped off? Did they really let all the previous staff go 2 weeks before Christmas. No one was in there and I understand why. They changed the chairs and gave a slight paint job. Most people would go there for the bartender and interactions with them. They fired those people. The only people in were playing video poker. If that’s what you want, go a half block down to Alex’s bar, better environment.

I’ve been here twice and had two bad experiences. The second visit was the last time I’ll go there, at least for awhile and until some changes are made. On my most recent visit, I walked up on a Friday night and there were two patrons screaming at one another. Then three more joined them. I went inside and two more patrons were yelling at each other. I sat at the bar for several minutes, waiting for things to settle down or for people to be asked to leave. Nothing happened. A couple more minutes later, the bartender shouted across the bar. At me. I was the quietest, and probably the only sober person there. She told me the bar was closed. I found this odd. Apparently I was the only person (out of 20) being addressed/asked to leave. I walked outside and towards my car and someone shouted “take a picture, white b@$#!” I was befuddled. In spite of the spectacle, I was really just on my phone, minding my own business. But I guess it was all for the best, this clearly isn’t the place to socialize and make friends.Usually pubs I like to go to have good samaritans who help deescalate situations like these. Because they clearly didn’t have that at this establishment, they definitely should have security there… at least on the weekends. They certainly need to find some solution for their over-served and rowdy customer base.I’d also suggest that bartenders practice showing respect and courtesy to the clientele you want to have - you know… the ones who tip well, leave honest and fair reviews, and behave themselves. I’m new to the neighborhood and it would’ve been wonderful and convenient for us. Too bad.

Nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and staff. I love to come here to play pool with friends. It's only 75 cents a game.

What a FRICKIN DUMP!! They DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR *ILLEGALLY OVERLY SERVED drunk Patrons.* The OVER SERVED DRUNK Customer's end up over @ the Apt Complex after closing which is behind the Bar & cause damage to Tenant's property- (To Cars, either damage or steal what's on their open patio's on ground level!! I'm hoping that THIS BS w/ this Pandemic that they will be FORCED to close for good!! IT's ONE HELL OF A DIVE BE for a Bar.
