We made a reservation which they said they were not aware of as it was made same day in the morning and reservations are looked at by the chef the day before hand. The website says they take walkins but we were informed that is incorrect. This restaurant is in the middle of no where with twisty roads to get there. When we insisted the Matre d speak to the person in charge he declined as that person is his father. I voiced my dismay with this situation and he said he was okay with that. I asked how can you stay open doing business this way and his response was “we do pretty well” and will be fine without your business. As a local business owner myself I think there was a better way to manage this. Especially as the restaurant was more than half empty. Looks like an interesting place, I hope the food is good. Make reservations and confirm before making the drive. I would also recommend printing it or taking a screen shot of it. Don’t make the drive hungry. This place was recommended by a friend. They say it’s very good but I will never know.

Great date night last night at Dueling Spoons! Added bonus was closing the place and getting to talk with Chef for 45 mins. Good guy and a great family.Pictured is:Me - his Shrimp Wellington (two massive shrimp surrounded by a heaping portion of crab, wrapped in pastry)My wife - his seafood pot pie which was loaded with everything you can think of!The appetizers were amazing, clams and mushroom medley with puff pastry, and desert (The Reid Family Poached Pear) was a knockout!Highly recommend for those of you in the area!

The history of this restaurant is amazing. The food is off the charts. Their pear dessert is to die for! We have already booked for our birthdays.

There's not enough stars on here to give. This place has resonated in my soul! I took my wife for a nice fancy meal something we've never done. I had no idea the meal was going to be an experience I'd never forget. And when I say experience i mean exactly that it was way more than just a meal. The atmosphere was awesome and chef Billy and his family made us feel like we were part of their family while we ate. I was able to visit with chef Billy, his son and the rest of his staff and we also decided to splurge for the chef special a giant ribeye and huge lobster tail with cheesy potatoes that I couldn't believe how good it was. I may never eat lobster anywhere else. It's 100 times better than any I've ever eaten. I cannot wait to go back and try the Kathleen chicken. And many more. I'm just frustrated I didn't know about this place sooner! This place is awesome!

We had a great dining experience from start to finish. Billy greeted us at the door. Saoirse waited on us. The salad was so good, you should sell that dressing! The steak was cooked to perfection. We had the pear for dessert. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience. Mo and Delores

Once again time and money spent at Dueling Spoons was not only 'worth the wait' but simply spectacular. The Reid family has never met a stranger and this hospitality spills over from the moment you walk into the restaurant in Fall Creek. The warm and inviting decor is not fussy but inviting. Being greeted like family (and sometimes teased like family) instantly puts a smile on the face, and laughter in the air. This is not 'fast food' of any kind. Chef Billy and his family are there to create a dining experience in a fun, friendly, and kind way. But enough about the atmosphere, lets talk about the food.I've been fortunate enough to spend 2 St. Patrick's Days at Dueling Spoons and it's a good time for all. This specially curated menu brings the true depth of flavour and tradition of Ireland right to Fall Creek. While corned beef and cabbage may be the staple in the US, you won't find it on the menu here... Oh, no... Here is a true Irish staple of boiled Ham and Cabbage with peas and carrots. The flavor is simply amazing and the presentation beautiful. I can see why this is a spring favorite. At our table we also had the Shepard's Pie which was described as 'one of the best' ever eaten and then, lets talk about the lamb stew. If you're a lamb lover, or even if you're not, this dis is cooked to perfection and served with love. Lamb gently braised all day and fall apart tender with perfect seasoning and the MOST delicious gravy I've ever had.Billy and Kathleen are always welcoming and joyous but on this day they were also surrounded by five of their children and the love of this family was everywhere around us in the room. With Billy and Billy Jr. in the kitchen the meals were delivered promptly, steaming hot, and delcious. With Kathleen in charge of the front of the house all guest received amazing service, prompt attention, and a delightful experience.I've said it before, and I'll continue to say it... Make your reservation, wait your turn, and enjoy. It's totally worth it!

Had a lovely evening here with Chef Billy and his family. Everyone is very kind and inviting. The Australian Wagyu was quite remarkable. Nothing crazy over the top and the portions are real. I will be a frequent visitor for the food, atmosphere and people. Thanks again fam!

Found their reputation to be well deserved, the food is fantastic. Nice little space, great people running it, the fact that it is packed in spite of being far from population centers says it all. Everything my party had was extraordinary, we will be back, makes a perfect place for a special occasion or just a night of fine dining.
