“Do not dress up because it is VERY casual. The service you will receive is like the kind at a family gathering where everyone is exactly that, family. Although nothing at The Boondocks screams 5 star dining, the steaks I had certainly did. I mean the hype behind the steaks is as real as Oregon rain. I dine at 20 places to find a steak of this quality. It's not just the quality of the steaks that Lori and Laura are buying, but it's the expertise in trimming as well as the five-star ability to cook a steak properly. I have yet to see this expertise anywhere in Oregon except for Fogo de Chao and The Ringside. It gets better. The amazing 8 oz filet mignon with homemade starch and great salad was only $25. The 16 oz perfectly trimmed ribeye with starch and homemade navy bean was $35. I finished both plates. It was incredible. These plates do not come out all pretty like competion steaks, but the quality and flavor is second to none. I was going to give up on eating steaks out. The last seven or eight that I've eaten were absolute garbage and were not worth the price paid. Lori and Laura reestablished my faith in that there are still cooks out there with passion!!!! I was really testing her too. I ordered my ribeye medium well and my filet mignon medium and she delivered amazing correct temps that were juicy and flavorful as if Chef Gordon Ramsay was cooking.”

“We were in town for the holidays and were told by family we had to come here. It was great! The worker was super friendly and helpful. They even had crayons and pictures for our kids to use. We got the waffle nachos which were fun! You get three scoops of ice cream, unlimited toppings, and two waffle cones cut up like chips. It was great! There are also lots of fun flavors that rotate through. I'd recommend checking this place out!”

“I love this place so much. Ken & A are the nicest people ever!!! I have been going to Spoon & Folks in Dallas, OR for as long as they have been open. Everything is delicious. Especially the Pho. I recently moved out of state & I can not find anywhere that makes Pho soup anywhere close to them. My best friend mailed me frozen soup. That’s how good it is. It’s the first place I come to when I visit & the last place before I leave to come eat at.Much love to the staff. “This a thank you little coffee shop. They have about five or six tables. The atmosphere is pretty hip Portlandish like. I barista are the friendly and helpful. They do sell coffee by the pound and few other things. The bathroom is very clean. There is plenty of parking in the back. There she is”

“Let me start with the best part.... the part you will (most likely) also start with.... the chips and salsa. I have NEVER had a chip that was more fresh and perfectly crunchy... nor salsa that was so tomato-y and wow!! We had two full baskets of chips and three dishes of salsa! I could drink this stuff!! I was trying to hard not to fill up... but I failed. It was just so danged good! I ordered the Enchiladas Banderas (enchiladas 3 ways - think mexican flag, here). I prefer cheese enchiladas, but they were SO cheesy I was almost wishing I'd ordered chicken. (What a strange complaint, right? haha *clear throat* pardon me... these cheese enchiladas have too much cheese in them! I guess I'm spoiled by the other places that barely fill them!) Hubby ordered the Tres Chiles which was also very good. The pork in the chile was super tender and the relleno he said was great! This place has something to it, it was packed the entire time we were there, both inside and out! But the service was fast and friendly! I did also order a beef taco, because, hello... TACOS! Aside from scorching my mouth to the point I had to inhale cool air to make sure I could swallow it it fall apart a little (hey, don't we all?). It was good, but not great. The churros are not house made, but covered with the right amount of cinnamon and crispiness. The flan, while it is house made, came out covered in strawberry and chocolate sauce with whipped cream - something I have never seen before, and did not care for. I would order it plain if I ordered it again. We will be back... if only for the chips and salsa! Though the rest of the food is also good!”

“Our top choice when we want Mexican food in Dallas. Being from SoCal we know good, authentic Mexican food. This is as good as any CA restaurant. Service is always outstanding. Prices very good and large selection. Clean establishment. We go at least monthly.”

We had one bowl of Salmon Pho and one bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup (definitely not your grandma's CNS!) and an order of salad rolls. “The Mar Far Chicken with the special red sauce is the best served anywhere. Especially when served piping hot...and I mean piping hot. Great Chinese food served better than anywhere else. Service is quick and always friendly. Especially when Jonathan is on duty in the dining room. The booths are roomy and you can carry on a decent conversation with your partner without missing a word. Another very important note is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Chen 's is one of our favorite places to enjoy Chinese food. We travel over an hour to get here because we are hungry for great Chinese and love enjoying a great meal EVERY time.”

“Solid lunch place with a huge menu. We ordered the prime rib, and also the western burger. The prime rib came with pot roast soup that was very good. The burger was standard and the sweet potato fries that came on the side, were very mushy, but our waitress switched them out for regular fries which were crispy and delicious. Total came to $54. I would eat here again. The bathroom was clean.”

“Just went with some friends for the blacklight party, I had a virgin pink Patricia which was delicious and some garlic cheese curds also very good. The music was pretty loud but it was a party so I don't think it's usually like that. The bartender was super friendly and seemed very enthusiastic and experienced I don't know what his name is though. I also wish they had more seating as there was 5 of us and we only managed to get a 2 seat table. They have quite a few pool tables (only $5 an hour) which was a lot of fun”
