Tried this cute little place out when it went under new ownership. The owners are the sweetest people around! The waitress and staff are always super friendly and ask if we need anything or how we like everything.We have been here 3 times and each time the food is always delicious. We have mostly sat down and eaten sushi. There is limited seating in front of where they make sushi and I love seeing all the dolls and trinkets on the shelves behind them, makes for an authentic experience. I’m in love with the boat displays when you order a ton of sushi.My husband and I have ordered from basic California rolls to their specialty rolls. They take a bit of time to come out but they are made great and taste fantastic. I’ve never gone home and gotten an upset tummy after eating here which is also a plus! They do have bento boxes and noodles. I did try the teriyaki chicken and it was perfect in my opinion! Just enough sauce and tender. Will keep coming back to support this business!

Every experience I’ve had here has been so - horrible. The service can be really rude and I genuinely have so much patience and work food service, so I am very understanding except for when people are just flat out mean. I used to love it here, but I think there was a change in ownership? It doesn’t seem they can really hold staff and every time I’ve eaten here it’s been an hour + wait, forgotten appetizers and wrong entrees with no refills. I’ve also seen them carrying just boxes of instant Shin ramen in which is just so so crazy low quality for the prices they charge. I could pick up Shin ramen from the Plaid Pantry. There are so many better places to go, I don’t recommend eating here. The fish is always super sus and the miso tastes like sock water. the eel looks like black rubber. It’s just not a high quality place and there online/in store prices are insanely different. If you’re calling in an order, when you go to pick it up it actually costs like $20 more because they’ve never updated their online menu but changed their in store prices to almost double what they were. I didn’t mean to go in on this review so hard, but the bad experiences just kept coming back to my memory while writing this.

Love this place. Such a nice restaurant, and the food is great. A little hidden gem ....Parking: Nice little parking lot opposite the restaurant.
I struggle giving the 2 star. And the only reason I did, was the waitress was great. The food however.... No where I've ever been tastes good when it's sauce is drowning out everything else on the plate. Literally puddles of teriyaki sauce, rice soaked in teriyaki sauce (which wasn't all that great tasting anyways. Zero star for their food.

Heard they were under new ownership when we got in but still gave it a try cus my buddy said it was good. Got takoyoki that was still frozen inside, then the 2nd batch was all mushy. Sushi was pretty gross too. Service was fine tho. Won't be going back.

I'm not typically someone who makes a negative post but I can't get over the length of time it took to be waited on and get our food. We waited over an hour to get our food & still didn't get our full order. We weren't a large party, just 2 people. The woman next to us had ordered a to-go order that took them almost 2.5 hours before they fulfilled the order. Several people had the same issue. They were slightly busy but not busy enough to warrant that sort of slow service. Definitely won't be back.
