When I smelled it, I knew I had to have it. Having that smoker going is better than any advertising and it did not disappoint! Everything was so wonderful and flavorful, better than I had hoped! The BBQ sauce was perfect, sweet and tangy and not too spicy for my 2yo. Elbert is also incredibly friendly, great customer service. We will definitely be back for more, and soon.

Finally a good bar b que in the Hillsboro(ish) area.I take great pride in my bar b que. I spent months perfecting my rubs for beef, chicken, and pork. Very once in a while I'd like to just go eat bar b que, and not put in all the work.I can now. My wife had the pulled pork, myself the brisket. Just the smoke on the meat was so good, the sauce was just the cherry on top.The coleslaw was not over sauced, (I would guess hand made) the mac n cheese wasn't perfect (could use more cheese IMO) but still really good and I believe hand made.This place is definitely worth the drive down to Forest Groove.

Finally a great bar b que spot. I love bar b que, and found it almost impossible to find anything as good or better then I make at home. H and H is that spot. My pride won't let me say its better then mine, but I will definitely come back and be pleases with the food. Just the smoke alone on the meat got my tail a waging, but the sauce was the topper. The sides taste handmade and are good, we had the coleslaw, mac n cheese, potatoe salad. All good. This is definitely worth the trip to Forest Grove.

I'm from the South and my husband is from the Midwest. We know our BBQ and ever since we came to Oregon we have not been able to find a single BBQ place that we were willing to go back a second time. H&H let me try their greens before buying anything and at that moment I knew these men knew what they were doing with good Southern cooking. Great fall off the bone ribs, great beans with smoked pulled pork, and oh good Lord those hush puppies. We will be going back again and again and again. Thank you gentlemen for giving my family a little piece of home.

This place is my family's new favorite restaurant to go to food is delicious and the portion sizes are ridiculous.I like the brisket the rest of my family loves the pork. Also some of the best potato salad I've ever had and the ranch beans are to die for as well
