I requested takeout from Taste of India during my road trip from the Bay Area to Seattle. I ordered fish tikka, tawa chicken, saag paneer, and daal tadka. However, the fish tikka wasn't authentic, as it was fried with onions and capsicum in gravy instead. The tawa chicken felt undercooked and the gravy was unsatisfactory. The saag paneer was overly creamy, lacking the distinct taste of saag. On the bright side, the daal was delicious. Additionally, rice was provided with all gravy items, and parking was complimentary.

Ordered biryani for takeout and what I received was an abomination. Boiled rice with turmeric and BOILED onions and BOILED carrots and peas. Taste of India? Absolutely not. They don’t seem to have any idea about Indian food. If you are looking for Indian food, better stay away.

03.2024Another visit after 4 year. Based on my last review gave them another chance. Nothing is same now.Tried Dum Aaloo, which was just boiled potatoes in basic gravy. Very basic taste, nothing outstanding now.Still it is not bad, but not like before.2019It’s not a regular Indian restaurant, it’s a gem.Run by a family who love to cook and providing best authentic taste from more than 20 years. We loved chatting with owner Kumar. He is a very nice man. He suggested us to try Shahi Paneer and Dal fry at authentic Indian spice level. What a taste. Dal was exactly what you get in Dhaba (Road side restaurants In India famous for their mouthwatering taste). Super yummy and super authentic. We also tried Aaloo Paratha, veg Biryani and Roti. Everything was fresh and full of flavor.Aside, ask Kumar to provide you their home made HOT sauce. I dare if you can finish that tiny cup that he will going to bring for you. It’s tooooooo Hot.

The Tika Masala tasted like spaghetti, not hating on this place but I was not impressed and won't be coming back, when one meal tastes bad I'm not gonna waste my money trying another IMO. Service was good, the food was not.
