I highly recommend El Molcajete for their food, service, and atmosphere! We are only in Grant's Pass for a couple of days and we drove past El Molcajete our first night, but did notice that it seemed very busy so we made a mental note. Our second day here we stopped in and WOW. I ordered the Mole Enchiladas (you can select your meat and I chose shredded beef), my Wife ordered the "Small Combination" - cheese enchilada and chili relleno. Both our plates were outstanding. While we were waiting for our our (which was only about 10 minutes), they brought chips and salsa with a bean dip. The salsa was excellent! The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean, the staff were pleasant and attentive, and the food was excellent - the best Mexican food we have had in a very long time - and here we almost missed it.

The best Mexicana Restaurant we have been to, hands down! Very friendly. We are learning Spanish and have even asked questions if we are speaking something correctly, and they helped us out. Even started speaking to us in Spanish so we could try and respond! Pretty awesome people work here! The food is yummy and you will not be going home hungry. oh and the spicy mango margaritas are delicious!

As always, I do my reviews as a bit of a story, just warning ?Walk in, Unfortunately, we're 30 minutes before closing, so we kind of feel like [REDACTED]s. However, the wait staff is extremely kind to us and asks us how many, Three. He then takes us to our table and provides us menus. We, knowing we were going to be late, had already looked at the menus online and determined that we were getting the Camarones a la Diabla(P1), a queso dip(P2), and an Asada Burrito(P3). The Asada Burrito was for me, and I was not expecting it to be so large. In my opinion, it was delicious. The steak inside was seasoned amazingly, and the sauce was finger licking good. The queso was very cheesy, as it should be, with a slight kick. I'm told the Camarones are so good my compatriot has come several times for it, but alas, they were not for me today. The chips they give you for free come with beans and cheese, as well as a tomato salsa. The tomato salsa was pretty good, but it had no kick. Instead it tasted mostly of cilantro. At the end I found a chip that would be great to scoop a ton of it up with, and found a slight amount of kick. The onion flavor in it is also subtle, but apparent.Waiter, 10/10.Food, 9/10.Environment, 10/10.Overall:.....10/10!!!!!! Yippee!!! Recommend!

I've eaten many places with our family of 5 & 1/2. Nowhere have we paid 165.00 for 4 dinners 5 drinks, or waited 55 minutes for standard Mexican lunch. Complete letdown for my mother, who visited from Mexico. By far, the bottom of our list. Sorry for the negative review. 6 different servers and not one attended us properly.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all.

Waitresses friendly atmosphere warm, food delicious, Monday afternoon around 2:00 there was no wait we sat immediately ? plenty of parking for all, handicap friendly and accessible, Restrooms available for customers definitely family and kid friendly. Their food is available to go. You may sit indoor or outdoor I did notice patio heaters they're conveniently located cross the street from Riverside Park. My number 17 combo meal enchilada, taco, tamale with rice and beans was so big I had to bring some home. They bring fresh hot chips salsa and beans to your table while taking your drinks prior to your meals arrival. A lot of food for your buckParking: A few handicap lots of parking plus additional street parkingKid-friendliness: They have a kid friendly menu, crayons and coloring to entertain the little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: Single level building makes it very accessible for wheelchairs
