The food was good, the service was terrible. We arrived at 5 pm to an empty restaurant and were told they were “full with reservations”. We mentioned we tried to call to book a reservation but the phone went straight to answering; the server said “yeah, sorry we don’t answer the phone if we’re busy.” It took almost an hour to get our food even though there were at least 5 people working the kitchen and 3 servers for a restaurant with 10 tables (more than half of which stayed empty). By the time we left, there were still two tables open that could have accommodated us. The worst part of the whole experience was the unbelievable attitude of the servers. I like to give servers the benefit of the doubt; I served for 10 years and managed restaurants myself. But one thing I can’t tolerate is rude staff.

Delicious food! Friendly service. We didn't have reservations and they managed to squeeze us in for a party of 4 by moving tables around. They were very busy and I see why! Yum!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is available on alot of items.

For small town Sushi, the food is pretty good. The fish is fresh and there is a good selection. The rolls are a bit lacking in creativity and geared towards a mainstream American palate (I do not need cream cheese, jalapenos , tempura shrimp or spicy tuna in every roll). But the bigger issue is that their new location is awful-- warehousey and cold with terrible lighting that hurts the eyes and the service is slow. I mean, really slow. It is not unusual to wait an hour for your food and yesterday we waited a whopping 1.5 hours for a take out order. We would have walked away, but they took our money up front. This is inexcusable for modern dining experience. If you can't serve folks within a half hour of arrival something is wrong with your kitchen.

Such a fantastic place to eat. All the food we ate really really good, the service was fantastic and the server that served us that afternoon was super nice.Dietary restrictions: My husband is Celiac and had not problems eating here and they use gluten free soy sauce/amino acids
Hands down the very best Sushi restaurant in Southern Oregon. The service is quick and very professional. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is to die for!

Back in 2004 I married my Sweetie at Musashi at their old location on the other end of H Street. The owner, Rich and one of his sushi chefs were our witnesses. We’ve been raging fans for over 20 years and have always enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere.Tonight, we were shooed out of there just after paying our $170 bill because they “needed the table for another reservation”.Bye bye Musashi. You’ve become too cool for me. You’ve just turned a raging fan into someone you’ll never see again.
