What an absolute dump. The patrons that go through the doors of this place only go to play the lottery machines. Seriously. We went there for lunch, so it was around noon. The attendant at the counter was shocked that we were there for food. We should have run back out the door right then. But, this shithole had some good reviews, and we're new to Grants Pass, so we wanted to give it a try. The attendant had to go turn on the grill and turn on the fryer, at lunch time, mind you. Again, we should have run out the door. Honestly, I am patient and don't mind waiting for food; however, this was not worth the wait. The buns were crumbly because they're so old. Guess that's because no one goes to Sam's Burgers to eat. The burger would have been decent enough, but the bun was horrible. The fries were totally under-fried because the oil never got hot enough to actually fry the frozen french fries. They were horrible. We got it all to go and there was no ketchup for the fries, no napkins, nothing. We tried to go to Riverside Park to eat, but there were homeless people everywhere. So, we took our food home and tried to rewarm the fries as we gagged down our hamburgers. I ended up throwing my buns in the garbage and tried to eat the patty. Then, I took the fries out of the oven and tried to eat those. I spit the bite out into the garbage, dumped the rest into the garbage and called it a total failure of a meal. All in all, pathetic experience. The attendant was nice enough. Totally admitted that the only revenue is from the lottery. How sad. My advice is to never try to eat here. Ever. But, if you're into the lottery, go here. It's what they do best.

Probably one of the best local burgers I have ever had. Fries are seasoned and they give you a ton of them. Jimmy's is good but Sam's is better. Granted they don't have the selection but what they have is way better. Luckily I work right behind them and it's really hard not eating there everyday. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

While looking at the menu the tooth deprived lady behind the counter informed me that she's not that good at making Indian food in case that's what I came in for. I got fish and chips instead. After a few bites she asked how it was and said sorry the grease really needs changing. To her credit she seemed genuinely nice. But I have to wonder if the 5 star reviews here are just plane bogus. Place is a real dive. I won't go back

Delicious Indian food! Great range of options, very affordable and very filling. I had the Saag Paneer and naan for lunch and it was so good!! The customer service is excellent - very fast and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Dont go for the burgers, go for the Indian food. Not that the burgers are bad, but you can get burgers anywhere. You cant get tasty indian food like this anywhere nearby that I have found yet. They were out of butter chicken (apparently it's one of the few things people in GP feel safe enough to order, because, i guess, well...southern oregon) which was fine because I wanted to try the tikka as well. Very flavorful, presentation left something to be desired as I wanted to sit and eat but was presented with a togo package so I went and had a nice little picnic with tasty tikka and a good serving of rice. The naan was a little overdone, and she said it was the last piece she had. Not the best indian food ive had, but its the best around GP.
