Sticky toffey pudding is a must. Relaxed atmosphere. Reservations are a good choice if you go during peak hours.

Absolutely love the blue cheese dates! The service was great and my waitress was kind! It can be busy in there but once your seated all you can focus on is your food!

Our first time eating here and we left very full and satisfied. Service was great and they were very attentive to our needs. I ordered the scallop truffle pasta and added grilled shrimp, but would've been fine without the shrimp overall. I think mine was the tastiest of the 3 dishes ordered, but fiancé had the flat bread and he ate the entire thing! Parents ordered and shared the ribeye, but weren't fond of the brussel sprouts as they were still pretty bitter after being sautéed. Overall, we had leftovers for later and they were just as tasty as when we ate them at the restaurant

Everything about our meal was excellent. Starting with the two soups: the roasted mushroom & potato soup had savory mushroom flavor that balanced nicely with the potato; while the poblano soup with chicken had sufficient cheese to tame the heat, but not so much to hide the pepper flavors. Chef's note; we really appreciate hot food served hot, something too many restaurants fail at, but The Twisted Cork delivered our soups, as well as our appetizers and entrees, piping hot, straight from the kitchen. That's often the fault of the expediter and/or the wait staff, not the kitchen, but on this very busy evening, the staff was on fire with the timing. Amanda, our wait / bar person, was attentive, very pleasant, and thoroughly entertaining. Our dinners were: cioppino, with generous portions of scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels, and cod, in a fennel- and roasted-seashell flavored tomato broth with grilled baguette slices; and the perfectly sautéed scallops with angel hair pasta tossed with spinach. Both entrees were top-notch, and we traded them back and forth trying to determine which one was better - a tie was called, and with it, not enough room left for dessert. All-in-all, a most memorable dinner, our delayed Valentines Day splurge. While we haven't tried them all, The Twisted Cork is among the top four restaurants we've dined at, from Ashland to Jacksonville to Grants Pass in the year we've been in the area. We will be back.

This is such a lovely little spot. Great for celebrations or a nice meal. The location is perfect and plenty of parking when we went. Plus, shipping downtown. The atmosphere is quaint with twinkle lights and a nice dining area. We had fantastic service. Everyone was lovely. Now, the food!!!! There was not one thing I would change in our food. Everything was done really well and we tried several items from appetizers, soup, salad, and entrees. Oh, and the desserts are amazing. Would highly recommend and looking forward to going back.

We ate there last night and don't think we'll be returning. We've been there several times and always enjoyed it but the food last night was not good. We had the beef Bourguignon special, which doesn't resemble any kind of beef Bourguignon we've ever seen. We would've expected chunks of beef in some kind of a nice stew, and instead the meat came apart, as though it was 5 - 6 thick cut deli slices of beef layered on top to create a massive single piece of beef with some molasses poured over the top. The scalloped potato/beet combination did not work, either. Mushrooms were so salty they were inedible. I always thought that one of the hallmarks of this place was being able to get nice wine, but one of the wines available by the glass retails at 10.99, so I think they've lost their edge. The staff were very attentive but they did not know the wines they were pouring. To tell us that a wine comes from Washington is not helpful. She didn't know the labels. Looking around the room, we didn't see any entrées that looked the caliber we come to expect at the Twisted Cork, so we sadly will not be returning.

I don't get it. Everyone says it's so great. I went there one time with my aunt and we both got the Flatbread. There was so much oil it felt like an oil spill in the gulf of Mexico and we needed a bottle of Dawn to clean or mouths out! We threw our food out. The waiter, whose name I can't remember was really great. It was Back To The 50s Week and he was watching the cars with us. Fun guy.

Went here on a double date. Drinks are good and they have a ton of wine choices. Dessert here is amazing. Don't leave without trying something on their dessert menu. Had a variety of things and everything was really good. This is a nice place for a date night or to celebrate something.

Twisted Cork is pleasant, usually moderately quiet, and the Chicken Ceasar I've had there has been fabulous. I don't usually order wine, but I would definitely take any suggestion they might offer if I had occasion to have wine.
