I love the brownie, baked in a mini-loaf pan, with melty chocolate chips! Co-owner Kathy bakes the desserts herself. Her husband, Brett, gave us very good table service, though the two of them are doing everything themselves nowadays. Two visits in two months--going to go back for takeout soon!

I'm a fan of Bistro 214. It is quiet, and sort of has a coffee shop vibe (though their food is pretty good). Pre-pandemic, I went to a couple of group gatherings there (the local East Suburban Democrats group meets there occasionally), and they were very gracious providing table service and splitting checks. They have one or two tables outside also, and I saw some folks out there enjoying coffee recently. I recommend this as a place to meet up and chat without feeling rushed. It is a block or two off of Main street, and has a casual and quiet vibe.

What a complete hidden gem! I am so sad that I haven't known of this place sooner. Although it may be a blessing as I would be here every week. Our food was amazing. Lets talk about the pastries... OMG so yummy!! Im going back this week to order one of their whole bundt cakes as well.

Love this little bistro on the edge of downtown Gresham! Great ambience and wonderful food, but reasonable prices. They have a good variety of dishes, from panini (several varieties), flatbread pizza and pasta (mainly creative mac and cheeses) to soups and dinner salads. And oh, the desserts! My husband had what he deemed the best apple crisp ever. I love the brownie, baked in a mini-loaf pan, with melty chocolate chips! Co-owner Kathy bakes the desserts herself. This place is perfect inside and out, food is always amazing. I've tried several dishes from the meat me pizza, crab dip, chicken and salmon Alfredo to the breakfast panini. They all tasted great with exceptional service. Also great mochas and brownies

Appearance wise this place is darling. Clean, cosy and has a good energy. Service was extremely slow given that there was not a soul inside or outside. 30 minutes for a panini seemed like a stretch. The waiter never came to check on me.The food was pretty good I enjoyed the beer batter fries. However, I must say that a restaurant these days that doesn’t have ranch dressing is not a place I will happily return to. “Gresham gravy” is a staple.14$ was my total. I don’t feel like it was overwhelming expensive however not much is stopping people from going a few blocks down to jazzy bagels and getting the same exact thing for $8.

The restaurant is cute and cozy. They had two tables for outside seating which was nice. However, the service was very slow and we were the only ones in the restaurant. It took around 40 minutes to get our food and the server never checked on us after. The food was decent but very overpriced for what you receive. If the prices were lower and the service was better this would be a great place to eat!

My wife and I stopped for lunch in Gresham and chose Bistro 214 - at first we were concerned that no one else was there at noon on a weekday. But we sat at a nice table outside on the sidewalk and enjoyed a wonderful meal. All items were made fresh that day and were delicious - the ice tea, salmon, dessert and coffee. I had the salmon BLT panini and my wife had the salmon salad and both were excellent. Our server Brett was friendly and helpful - and we took his recommendation to try one of their homemade cookies for dessert. The peanut butter cookie was awesome! Make sure to order an Illy coffee with it. :) I'm sure Bistro 214 does a bigger business at dinner - but trust us, you should try it for lunch!!

We were looking for a place for lunch in downtown Gresham. This place got our attention just for the attractive street front presence. Even more, when we walked in and were greeted by the owner. It real has a warm, attractive feel and decor. The menu has something for everyone. We ended up with multiple appetizers to share; Crab Dip, Antipasto and Hummus Platter. All were superb. Most of the breads are baked in house. Vegetables are fresh. We learned that they source most everything from local vendors. Prices are very reasonable. And attention to detail is remarkable. The owners are a young husband and wife team. We will definitely return!

The absolute best Italian food ever!! The baked Mac n cheese, Bistro 214 twists, and chicken ceaser salad are soooo good and they’re always so friendly and nice! Great food, service, and atmosphere!
