Sunny Han's officially closed after 30 years on December 23, 2023. They sold the restaurant and retired. The new owner will serve Cantonese food. Opening date not known at this time.

The food was good, a little pricey for the chicken not being of great quality, the iced coffee was good, the service was good, staff was nice and the dining room was decorated for Christmas season well.

This restaurant is right on the corner of Main and 3rd. There is some street parking and parking lots nearby. There was plenty of seating, order and pay at the counter then they will bring you your food. The atmosphere is very relaxed, I particularly enjoyed how quiet the restaurant was. I'm sure it gets noisy during busy times, but we lucked out and got to enjoy a quiet family lunch. My husband ordered the garlic chicken it was delicious! The serving sizes were quite reasonable. I ordered a plate of broccoli/beef and orange chicken with a side of extra veggies (I split my meal with my daughter and we still had left overs). I liked the extra veggies which were probably lightly steamed so they were fresh, warm, and just soft (not mushy). The sesame balls are warm, bitesized and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and festively decorated.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves orange chicken, so this was just the ticket for her. We ended up splitting our plate with her and there was more than enough food. There is a kid sized menu too.

If I had to pick someplace to eat only that for the rest of my life, it'd be Sunny Hans. Firecracker chicken for life.

Staff were lovely; but $44 in incredibly low-quality food to be served on paper plates… yikes. A $50 tab for teriyaki I’d expect from fast food. Tasteless, whitewashed, pre-packaged. Come for the jewelry they’re selling in the lobby (??) stay for the arcade-style carpet.

My elderly mother and I came here for a late lunch today and everything was perfect. Our server and the entire staff, the music, the cleanliness, the hot food, everything. We’ve been coming here for 30+ years and have never been disappointed. The owner was there and bid us a fine farewell. As usual, we will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: It was easy getting my mom in and out with her walker. Seating was wonderful, too!

The food was ok but when I spend over $30 for a meal I dont want it on a paper plate with a plastic fork. It was difficult to eat the big chunks of chicken and the meal seeped through the paper plate, leaving a mess on the table.

I used to work there for Sunny and Judy back in the early 90s.If you see this review Sunny or Judy then let me tell you how I've missed you guys and your food for over 20 years. We all live in Las Vegas and mu mother says hello as well. I hope everything is as great as it was from the day we left. Take care of yourself a and hope to come get some food and see you two as well.Love, Mark Kanas.

Diner atmosphere, clean and warm.Sunny Han's restaurant is easily one of our favorite restaurants in Gresham. The food is as good as Sunny is kind. Lots of gluten free options. And the sesame puffs? Oh, don't miss those!Excellent dishes are mostly under $10...somehow. A double order of sesame puffs adds just a little more.Vegetarian options: We aren't looking for vegetarian options, but they are there in Asian salads and hot dishes.Kid-friendliness: Beautiful greeting cards, amazingly low priced original paintings and prints and jewelry to peruse or buy. We are never bored while waiting for food to cook.Parking: During the busiest hours, street parking can be hard to find, but across the street is a large free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at front door; back door and lovely garden eating is street level.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options. No dairy challenges at all.

Seeing sunny Hans with a 4.1 rating is a travesty. Most Chinese restaurants if you've tried one, you've tried them all. Not here, the food is made in house and tastes fantastic. The orange and general tso's is top notch. The other thing is the rice, REAL sticky rice. It's the best and so hard to find state side. Friendly staff and good atmosphere, easy 5 star.

Didn't go prices are to high for what you get,we checked out their website ,.I used to go there all the when it was affordable, not any more when it's $17.95 for 2 meats and a spoonful of rice, even the meat portions are skimpy. I say no thank you

I used to come here all the time as a kid and LOVED their teriyaki chicken. However, I came back today for lunch for the first time in many years and the quality has gone from great to absolutely terrible.I ordered the firecracker chicken and was extremely disappointed. It was what seemed like boiled or microwaved chicken, no sear marks and was covered in a gloopy gloppy microwaved sweet & sour sauce with chili flakes and chili peppers put in. It felt like something out of a cafeteria or microwave dinner. I have no idea why you would even try to serve chicken that way. There wasn't even any vegetables!I think Sunny Han's time has passed.. You're better off going to panda express or the Albertsons/ Safeway Deli counter. The quality was that BAD. It literally provoked me to go online and write this review. I'm still trying to forget about that overly sweet, goopy sauce and soft, microwaved chicken. The texture is haunting me. ICK!

So me and my girlfriend were out and about and decided to stop for breakfast burritos. On our way back to our car we seen a sign for vietnamese iced coffee and went inside to try one. Only 1 elderly couple inside and it took us almost 20 minutes to get a coffee. The coffee was 4.50 and out of a 5 dollar bill I got 5 cents back. I've been looking at reviews and I'm glad I didnt order any microwave food I could get at Safeways frozen good section. You would probably get better food and service at the bar next door.
