“One of favorite breweries. A hidden jewel of the Portland beer scene. High quality beer in a wide variety of traditional styles and some innovations. Chill and friendly vibe. Dog friendly. Worth going off the beaten path to have a pint or two.“

“Highly recommended by locals and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoy sours and that’s what brought me here. The large selection of beers is fantastic! I enjoyed a flight of 5 different beers and the bartender gave me a taste of a seasonal one to boot. I was visiting from Alabama for the weekend and I am so glad I was directed to this brewery! The area had great shopping too. Cool local stores nearby.“
“Great low-key atmosphere, rain or shine! Family and dog friendly. Tons of outdoor seating, dozens of brews on tap, and several food truck options. We opted for brews and 1/4 slices of Ranch Pizza's pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Everything hit the spot, staff were kind and helpful, and on a Friday night there was live music on the patio. We'll certainly be back!“

“Quick pit stop, but ordered the following: - Irish stout 16oz - Blueberry inferno 8oz - Bourbonic biscochito 8oz - Foccacia w ricotta We really enjoyed the stout! Some of the best stout we've had - not very high in ABV, but very tasty. Unfortunately, they only have growlers of this when we asked if they had cans. Blueberry inferno was indeed quite spicy. Def try a sample before committing to a whole glass. Personally, wouldn't get this as a solo drink, unless you're into a spicy, alcohol drink. However, it was worth trying and we split amongst the table. Bourbonic had notes of bourbon, not bad, but nothing too crazy either. Foccacia w ricotta was a perfect snack to line our tummies. Big enough to split between 2 people.“

“Thank you Ann for a fabulous experience for the 2024 Westland high school baseball auction. You went above and beyond to accommodate our large group and the food was amazing. We look forward to holding our next event with you soon. I highly recommend anyone looking for an event space to, go see, and she will definitely take care of you.Dietary restrictions: Handmade an amazing vegan dish for our event.“
“My favorite beer has come to Portland! The new taproom said dog friendly on the site but know that means patio. They still made it as nice as possible for us by building a fire and bringing water out for our pup. Great service, nice people, and delicious beer.“

“The food is expensive. The basic burger is very basic -- just meat, cheese, bread, and sauce -- for $16. Visited for Sandwich Week 2024 and their pulled pork was fantastic. The beers are usually solid contenders with other local Portland beers.“

“Some of the best selection of dry and off dry ciders found in one place. They also have a lot of other sweet and semi-sweet ciders as well as a full bar.New restaurant menu is well thought out and has some well crafted and delicious options. Could be rounded out with a few more low-carb options such as a low card bun option for the sandwiches and a couple more large salads.Looking forward to visiting again soon.“

“The team at Cap's n Taps are always funny, helpful and will go the extra mile to provide exceptional guest experience. They are kiddo friendly which is so SO helpful when you have a family. They support local beer and also have a wonderful variety of canned beer for any of you beer nerds.“
“Showed up late in the evening again, barely making last call. It was empty but had a good conversation with the only other customer and staff. Only had the Japanese lager in keeping with my final last days in Portland, no more hopps for awhile. They also had an MKIII in the corner I didn't get a chance to feed. Worth a trip if in the area“

“Been here a couple times and I am consistently pleased with the service, value and quality. I’ve drank break side beers for a long time. Coming into their establishment it is so light and airy and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and the environment is lofty, airy and bright. Their beer fails to disappoint and each time I’ve come in the food is a perfect balance of pub food and class. Comfort dishes made with care. Their waffle fries are so nicely crisp on the outside with that smooth, mashed potato feel inside. The cubano was wonderful. Hard crust with soft, fall apart pork and crunchy house pickles with chipotle mayo for that subtle smoky heat. My partner ordered the beer and burger special and even a simple burger with a couple little add on was cooked well and seasoned properly. I could go on but I sure do enjoy coming here.“

“Really cool spot. AMAZING PIZZA!!! The beer was really good too and I loved the vibe. A great spot to chill alone with a book or to hang with friends. It to me is the ideal brewpub environment. I am difficult to please and this place checked all the boxes. I wish I lived closer.“

“The fried chicken or shrimp baskets are over the top. They are about the best I have had. Not pre-breaded & frozen. Just awesome food. Service is always spot on. My only suggestion for improvement would be to dampen the sound. This is a happy friendly brew pub but the noise level at lunch is quite high. Overall this is a can't miss place to dine out.“

“Very small nano brewery with a decent selection of beers and a devoted staff. The location could use some charm but it's clean and can hold a ton of people for that big event you want to hold. Small batch brewing means they can experiment and develop new brews. It's the best brewery in central Gresham. Yep.“
“Staff is always friendly. They have some pretty decent salads. I'm GF so the food selection is limited but the kale salad is solid, and have good ciders available. The bathroom next to the kitchen was amazingly warm and cozy when we went during the ice/snow storm. 10/10 would pee there again.“

“I don't go to this place often, but I do like it. And it's a great place to have a celebration as you can rent part of the bar. Food is a bit expensive. Stay away from the $12 salad. Beer prices and selection are reasonable. I would go back again.“

“Just grabbing some suds with some industry colleagues was a great experience. I ordered a beer, and when the waitress saw that it had more bubblies than it should, she brought me a fresh one, no questions asked. Always refreshing to get to notch service!“

“I'm not a beer drinker... so I skipped this place for way too long.... Don't make the same mistake I made. The pizzas are a-maz-ing! Great interior with plenty of outside seating on these perfect summer/autumn days. We've always enjoyed good service .... Friendly staff.... Great location in MLK (for us anyway!)“

“Awesome food. Server Tony was great. Seems like he was new and bartender had a pretty difficult attitude towards him. If it weren't for her panicked management with our Birthday group, our service would have been great. He went above and beyond with the other team members to rescue the night. We'll be back but hopefully she won't be frazzled and switching back and forth our server. We felt bad for the staff.“
“Cool little warehouse location with his staff that is super friendly and helpful. Street parking is available. There's a fire pit outside which is cool.We came for some food after checking out Hopscotch. I ordered up the chicken sandwich which came with fries. My friend had the BLTA with fries. Both orders came out quickly, and the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yum! My chicken sandwich came on a nice soft bun with garlic aïoli, bacon, tomato, onion and was absolutely delicious. Love the high ceilings in the warehouse feel. Lots of space and there's games to play if you like. Keep up the good work we'll be back!“
“4 stars for the beer. Family member said beer was pretty dang good and it’s impressive what they’ve done and how they’re 100% gluten free. Although I wish it was clear on their website that this is a “limited service restaurant” (I.e. order from your phone at the table and very limited contact with staff other than them bringing your food to you). I understand if they do not have the means to be a full-service restaurant but just wish it was clearly stated on their website. A Gastropub is supposed to be a full-service restaurant. As someone with celiac disease, I rarely get to go out to dinner and was looking forward to eating at a full service restaurant (not a 5 star fancy place necessarily but at least just given the service that usually comes with food priced as high as it is) We drove from Vancouver, Wa and were a little bummed. Beer was great though ?“

“A favorite spot in Portland! Delicious beer selection, with flights available. Cans to-go and the can art is one-of-a-kind. Having Cache Cache in the back and all the amazing food carts right outside at Lil America is so great. You can take any of the food into the bar or any of the drinks out to the patio area. Plus, dog friendly! They're always having fun events like pop-ups, themed drinks, and big parties outside. Staff is amazing and so friendly too.“

The brewery boasts a diverse and satisfying range of brews that cater to various palates, ensuring there's something for everyone. The bar sampler plate exceeded expectations, offering a delightful array of flavors that complemented the beers perfectly. The staff were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The venue itself, housed in what appears to be an old church, adds a unique and charming ambiance to the experience. Overall, Steeplejack Brewery delivers not only great beer but also excellent service and an unforgettable setting, making it a must-visit destination for any beer lover.“

“Another cozy and unique theater! This building is artwork. Everywhere you look there's something that catches the eye. There's a restaurant attached to it as well so you can get food delivered to you while you watch the movie if you didn't grab any before hand. If you do this option you'll have to sit up stairs. It's fun though especially if you get the seats right at the edge. P.S. there is a restroom on this floor, if you are looking at the screen its on the right hand side.I love their popcorn, pretzels w/ cheese sauce and a pitcher of cider. They usually have three options to choose from.Every time I go, people are pleasant and it's a joy to talk to them.Side note: If you haven't been to McMenamins locations before all the ones I've been to are so much fun. So much detail goes into their spaces and it's always an adventure.I can't wait till next time.Cheers ?“

“Fun place for a pint and some pub food. The double smash burger went down a little too easily for me but it was really solid. Beer is always solid but I'd like another WC IPA option but that's just my preference. Pipe wrench has held up for years and still is special for me. My wife and I will be back.“
“This is a nice neighborhood pub. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. There are two small couch seats near the bar.The staff was friendly and helpful. Bussing was a bit slow. There is a food truck on site if you want more than drinks. There is a friendly resident cat who has the run of the pub including the bar counter top.The pub is also dog friendly. There are gas fire pits to keep warm around at night. There are many alcohol drink and non-alcohol drink options. The pub is cozy and well maintained.“
“Excellent Coffee Tour. The gentleman that did the tour was extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee.“

“It was pretty good, had this apple pie cider with the season being here and all. Nice ambiance, we sat outside by the fire table and were comfortable. Had these brussel sprouts and the tomato soup for a quick bite. Only reason I didn't give 5 star is because the staff was very monotone and not very welcoming when ordering but we got through it.“

“GOW is one of my husband and I’s favorite places to go for a laid back environment, great food and a superb list of beer choices. Tonight we went and they just rolled out a new menu. I didn’t think they could get better, but they did. Our server Linh, was great at giving suggestions and letting us know more about the new menu. Linh was a delight! Unfortunately, I did not get many pictures as we were too excited to eat! But their salmon candy appetizer was phenomenal!“

“Perfect place for lunch. Took the kids to OMSI and it was a 5 minute walk to get great pizza While sitting in a train car. The kids loved watching the trains and busses come by. My wife and I liked the beer options. Service was really great. Delivered the food to the table quickly and they were keeping an eye out to collect our plates when we were done. We will be back for sure. Thanks for the great meal! Also there is a free train museum across the street.“

“The Blackberry cider was excellent! Will go back just to enjoy that again. Also, I want to try the sliders. They looked good but we opted for a salad. Waitress was kind enough to split it for us. Love the decor and outdoor seating, especially on a warm sunny day.“

“I saw a review on crypto investment that changed my story for good. I never believed it at first but after much convincing by my account manager in the person of Mrs Craig Vanessa I decided to give it a trial with just $5,000 even though there was a lower cost of investment. Starting with this, I made a profit of $35,500 in the first week. I am sharing this here for those that may have an interest. Mrs. Craig Vanessa is genuine and her style of trade is unique. Completely top-notch and different from the rest. Contact her today and you will not regret it. Send her a DM on WhatsApp via the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“

“What a fun pub right on Hawthorne to enjoy a beer outdoors when it's a nice day! I love the grateful Dead memorabilia scattered throughout the bar. It's a real chill vibe and they always have the grateful Dead music on. In the background. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options.“

“My favorite pub with its smoky interior and cozy feel. The tater tots enhance the whole experience. Charm oozes from every detail without being overwhelming. It's a great pub with typically good service (and that predictable McMenamins' service curse every 4th or fifth visit). My advice for that lull? Order abound and lower your expectations--it will turn out fine.“
“New owner is super nice and trying all kind of things to get the place going. New menu, remodeled the place a couple of times, bands or DJ most weekends, and currently a mechanical bull! The only negative is they don't have VP machines.“

“This particular McMenamin's location is great! All the employees are phenomenal. Very professional and friendly. The location is great... right off a major bus line. There are panoramic windows facing Broadway and an outdoor seating area with a large screen to watch sports. The burgers are top notch! The tots are great! The beer is what I really come here for though... other than the great friendly service! They know my drink preferences and are always on top of everything... no matter who is on staff. Everyone is phenomenal and I would definitely come back!“

“First time visiting this Mcmenamins. We were surprised to see a lot of string lights all over the rafters to illuminate the restaurant. We order a cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger and a Trippy Cider, which consists of mixture of pomegranate, peach and pineapple juices. That was delicious. Highly recommended it. A good tart and sweet taste to it. I ordered regular tater tots and it was crispy when I received it. Of course, I finished the tater tots and my cider right away. My burger was medium rare. Perfect.“

“One of my favorite breweries in Portland. They offer a Tuesday special - buy a pizza and get any pint for $1. They constantly rotate in new beers and are well priced. Pizzas are a bit small and only good for 2 people priced decently. Sometimes if you're lucky, they'll try to finish out certain beers by offering $4 pints.“
